It's entirely possible, but it's almost impossible for me to figure out the problem if I can't recreate it. An error message like that could mean almost anything in RPG Maker.

If you could try playing the game on a different system that might help test if your OS is the issue.

Which concerns do you mean? I've answered a couple questions previously about that particular quest line (can't recall exactly what users or websites), but I won't be divulging too many details about future game events.

Have you seen their event in the mountain pass north of the village? That is their only scene in the current build.

There are currently no other scenes for those characters.

For the new mode, the event writing and sequencing has been reworked to make it as though the scenes in question never happen.
For now, this means there's a significant chunk of content missing, but moving forward I will do my best to add new content with parity.

The SubStar page is still under review at the moment, but hopefully it will be live soon.

A check system for avoiding certain content is definitely in the works! For now, this is just an initial proof of concept.

If you're having trouble finding more scenes, the Tips Journal in the MC's room might help point you in the right direction.

A better system for finding/tracking "quests" is definitely something on the roadmap. Though, for now you can check the journal in the MC's bedroom for tips on how to discover new scenes.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to recreate your error, but I've made some adjustments to the code that hopefully fix the issue. It'll either be out in the next update or a hotfix, depending on schedule.
