Living room

you have to do it in the living room specifically for the scene to work.... you'll understand why when it does

Can we unlock the other 3 equipment slots? or is that still a WIP?

basement in library (the trapdoor under the rug)

yes 0.19.7a... and sadly Chinatown wasn't the only dialog where this happened.. wherever the dialog was more than the 3 lines it went off of the screen.

a possibly quick (although I don't know how simple) fix for the devs might be a way for players to scale the text size up/down; but I haven't messed with the engine so I don't know how much work that would involve but Great game all the same!

Can anyone explain the "independent" thing on the characters and if it changes to something else over time/special requirements?

noticed a slight bug(?) for some of the longer conversations (Like when asking who rules in Chinatown) where some of the text is off screen at the bottom, anyone else having this issue/know a fix on PC?

having a similar problem for Windows, go to install the Demo from the launcher and the install won't move unless I pause/resume the download every few minutes, then once it gets to 99% there is an "Error" took me 6 hours of babysitting it to get to 99% when I could have something this size on steam install in less than a minute, def something wrong/bugged with the launcher/game download (even tried opening it in admin and re-installing the launcher)

I get the launcher fully downloaded, go to install the demo through the launcher and it takes FOREVER and for some reason I have to constantly Pause/Unpause the download so it will continue, sometimes it installs a few MB before I have to do this, others it is only 0.01MB and it stops moving. Then when it gets to 99% it has a network/other issue and I have to start the install all over again. I know it isn't my wifi being weird because steam would install games fine and instantaneous for this file size, but it took 6 hours to try and get this running supervised as if I just hit to install it will sit at 0% or not move.
Am I missing something, or is this a fixable bug?

getting the same bug

seems like all the auto speeds are the same and are too fast for the text, yet all non text scenes take an eternity to switch over... possible bug?

Did a fresh install with a brand new save and I'm also not seeing any skip, back, save, etc...
