Update, I found the save files in another location in C drive. Deleted most files, will see how it goes.

I'm having a glitch playing the game as: Germany, East campaign, 2nd scenario (Weserubung). The units that I purchased on turn 1 are movable but the core units aren't. I want to clear the cache and all (other) save files for the game, which I have done by searching manually for 'sav', however this level still loads.  'Next Turn' is not working at all, it seems like I will have to uninstall the game and lose all progress from the poland map to start again, but that may not fix the issue.

I could send through the save file for inspection if you like. I'm playing the paid version if that makes any difference.

Good Afternoon Valentin,

Thanks for those details! This game is addictive :)

I'm still looking for information about where I can upgrade a unit, the manual reads

"Note :- The unit you want to upgrade needs to be on the appropriate tile (the same tile where you can deploy it)." from page 22.

The deployment of units only happens on the reinforcement tile, while the upgrading of units occurs at various cities around the map. I'm able to upgrade many units like infantry but not artillery. I do have the tile display info turned on, showing me things like the income per turn etc in the top left of screen. is this the 'show tiles types' button or is that another option?

My next theory is that certain tile have the appearance of a city but are actually harbours, this might have been the issue all along. If that is the case then I have learnt by playing the game like you said. Also confusing is the units that cannot be fully upgraded but can be partially upgraded in certain towns.

Hi thanks for that, I saw the error I made about cities and the colours.  If there a way to make the upgrade locations and types more clear?

I have not seen where there is any option to disband a unit, would you mind clarifying this part.

The campaign that I started lasted for 2 scenarios then no more, I could not see any button to continue a campaign. I'll try to reproduce it if I can.

Valentin, I am Playing Nazi basterds, Eastern campaign, 1941. Re Upgrading units - the game guide says that cities with gold trim are better for upgrading. I am trying to upgrade 76mm artillery at Koenigsberg to (anything good) but I get the error message, you need to be at a big city to upgrade. It has the appearance of all the big cities on the map; is there a more reliable way for me to know which cities can upgrade units or not?

It is a captured unit, is this a factor?

Question 2, core units: Why are all captured units core units, and how come the core unit system is so unworkable and non-instinctive?

Question 3, campaigns: I completed the first campaign of only 2 maps, is that correct or did I do something wrong ... can we get more info about campaigns please!

Thanks for your time and ongoing work my friend.

I'm a new player; purchased this great game 23 days ago!

In some ways the tutorial is pretty basic, but i'm getting a better handle on things just by playing the game.

In particular, I am looking for better information about: earning income and, the role of the carrier(ship) in the game. Why does it not allow aircraft to refuel repair and re-arm around itself? It just doesn't feel like it's doing a carrier role at all, despite it's price tag.

In  the pursuit of coin, do factories and refineries help?

Thanks for any replies and thanks Valentin for a great game, it was worth the small investment.
