Ah, whoops! Not sure how I mixed that up. Maybe I'll get around to fixing that some time.

Thanks for the heads up!

Hey folks! As an homage to the ubiquitous text-editor, I created a browser-based puzzle game! The game attempts to combine a few simple mechanics to create some interesting problems. I hope you enjoy playing it, and would love to hear any and all feedback! Thank you!

Here is an example of a puzzle in the game!

This is nice and relaxing, great job! The only thing I might suggest from a design standpoint is that having two different blocks (water & red arrow) with the same player interaction is a bit confusing. Obviously not a huge deal and an overall great job!

I can't believe you made my reoccurring dream into a game! I think curiosity drives this type of game forward, and I think this game did a good job with that.

Oh yeah, I see that now. I had downloaded it directly from the game jam page. Either way, a small floating "F" at the first interaction might not go amiss. Or to keep within theme, a terminal with a large "F" on it.

I really enjoyed playing through this one! The art was beautiful. What really put the aesthetic over the top for me was the walking animations once the enemies spotted Chuck.

Great work!

I think just a couple indications of the controls would help this game a lot. I unfortunately got stuck almost immediately. From what I saw, I definitely want to play more though!

Great prototype! Had a good feeling to the movement and shooting. I like the inclusion of an aiming mode, but I would love to see some sort of aiming reticle to actually know where I'm going to shoot.

I would undoubtedly play more of this if it were expanded upon.

I got stuck in the electricity area, even when using the map. I thought that I had thoroughly searched the area, and the map didn't seem to show the rooms I was discovering.

Some of the areas with a ton of lasers are quite difficult, but I think the toughest part is the long corridor with the electricity on the floor. I was frustrated by trying to avoid that bit and leave the area.

Super fun game. Great controls and feeling of progression throughout. The only thing I would change is that a couple of times I went through a door that I have finally been able to unlock, but there is only a door that I can't get through on the other side.

Great work!

I think you guys totally have the feel down. Fantastic music. My only gripe is that while the platforming is often good, there certain areas where the design isn't all there. The Archivist area has some areas where to make the jump I have to bang my head against the ceiling, which throws off my jump trajectory. The punishment for missing a jump here is also quite high, as I fall back several rooms.

Overall through, I think you guys did a great job!

Very fun! I love the unique take how tools are used. I also enjoy the exploration required to progress the game. Finally, the game flows well without too much dialogue.

The game is quite polished so my only complaints are nitpicks. First, if you wanted to continue improving the game, I would definitely watch some people do a full play-through. I was unable to finish the game due to getting stuck on where to go next, and I imagine that it could happen to others as well. Further, there are a couple of sections that are overly difficult. I believe that watching player's reactions would help smooth this out.
Oh, and the sound effects might need a little better mixing. Some are jarringly loud.

Otherwise, fantastic job! I had a great time playing the game.

Thank you so much for the review! One could attack with the stick, but it seems I didn't make that clear enough! I absolutely agree with the comment about the background and I will make sure to change that.

Hello! I am a programmer/designer looking to test my chops on a collaborative project. I am open to learning different platforms,  but I am currently most familiar with Unity.
