I enjoyed this game very much especially the song; it is a good loop that fits the atmosphere of the game perfectly. The gameplay is fun, though I realized that I could have my guys aim their weaponry to the far right, where the bad mechs come from, and not really worry about them reaching me. One way to avoid this, would be to have mechs that you actually want to come into your base.
This game is absolutely bonkers. I'm impressed such a visually polished game can run on a web browser of all things, even if there was a few seconds of delay in moving the character or camera on my end. The menu UI looks straight out of a triple a title. That said, I couldn't find out how to do anything with the crystals, and for me the mouse seems too sensative. I liked the ambient atmosphere and sountrack though, and the sound effects were very high quality.
I have finished the game to completion, completed all the goals, purchased all backgrounds, songs, remixes, gifts, photos, and decor, and fed Rutaboo a sufficient dinner. I also made sure to see all of the different visitors possible in the endless mode, and even saw some characers that showed up no where else in the game. This game was excellent main character kun is a cool guy and I respect him. I enjoyed my time playing this game and helping mc-kun repair the town, and I would suggest others play it too, even if only for the main story.
This comment bring joy and inspiration to me and everyone who worked on this game jam. Worry not good friend, for all of us will keep working on this game jam with enthusiasm for you, and because it's quite fun to work on. Infact, we have already made some improvements since the posting of this jam to the net space in November's twilight. Thank you so much, for playing our game!
Masterpiece,
This could honestly be used to teach typing. Imagine, instead of typing up lines of words, you have rapidly type letters scattered across the screen in time to dodge enemies. I struggled, for too often I glance upon my keyboard to find the right key, but somehow the high tension, heart pumping, atmosphere helped me to press the keys more instinctively without relying on my sight. Outstanding.
