Haha I know the feeling -- I think this would be a great mini game to embellish on, would love to see it again if you work on it more!

This was a really cute game! I think there could have been a stronger tie-in to the secondary theme, like putting a little sprout on the cat-like plants' heads, or maybe have them pop out of big plants instead of the ground. The graphics are simple but it's easy to tell what's going on at all times, so props for that! Good job.

This game is pretty cute! I liked how I was a sunflower tired of all the bugs and I can finally make them feel pain for what they've done to me. >:( The pixelated shader was very nice, but maybe not the best in combination with the 4 color restriction. It was hard for me to see what I was shooting until I noticed the bullets' shadows. I also think having more of a description of how exactly my upgrades will work -- for example, I got DMG++, but it wasn't clear that this included a baby plant appearing as a second shooter for my plant. I did really like how you made the sunflower seed power up model though!

Can we edit our Itch page after the deadline/during judging? Like to add better screenshots or change colors of the page?
(We had another 12 hours yes)

I love this! I made a FAT SHEEP and it took up the entire screen. 10/10

Apologies for the late response, but thank you for your kind words and feedback! Really appreciate it <3

Thank you, really appreciate it! :D

This game is so wholesome, even when Cauldy slaps other characters with its spoon it's wholesome.
I think my favorite part of this game was the inventory/cooking UI. It gives me the feeling of a cute Zelda game, and I really dig how organized it is for all of that functionality in one popup. Very nice job, one of my favorites!

Thank you so much <3 <3 <3

The fact that this was all made in Figma is super impressive to me.  Also I love all of the ingredient-related puns.
