I couldn't play it because I have Mac, but the art looks good. It reminds me of Pokemon.
I've added a Mac build now (90 minutes before voting ends, but heck why not?). I just didn't want to export for Mac, because I have no means of testing. As long as it runs though I'll be happy! Thanks for the kind words :)
Thank you for adding the Mac build! I loved the game! I finished the game and made the cake! It was really fun! Nice job! The only thing is that it was small, so I would have liked to see it bigger.
Thanks so much for playing all the way through :)
Wow! That was I cool experience! The cooking menu/recipes were great! Congratulations on your submission! :)
Thank you very much :)
This game is so wholesome, even when Cauldy slaps other characters with its spoon it's wholesome.
I think my favorite part of this game was the inventory/cooking UI. It gives me the feeling of a cute Zelda game, and I really dig how organized it is for all of that functionality in one popup. Very nice job, one of my favorites!
Thank you :) The UI design was one of the tricker parts of the game's design, so I'm glad it works in the end.
I fail to believe that a single dev made this whole project in a week! The game has the polish of pokemon diamond and pearl on DS with the content level of the entire pallet town! Keep it up! If I were to change one thing I would implement a more experimental gameplay mechanic into the game to make the game truly one of a kind. I love how talking to people is just smacking them on the head.
Thanks for the kind words! I agree my use of the theme could've been more interesting. I originally wanted it to be possible for the player to eat the food and gain some abilities, but I was worried I was over-scoping (in retrospect I would've been right too haha).
This was such a nice experience. It felt really chill and I liked how you used that theme well, especially bringing everyone together for a similar cause. :)
Thanks very much :)
