This is one of the updates of all time.

Man, I love how your games relate to each other in one way or another. And I love love how there's always some obscure secrets to be found. Never stop making games.

What format is your audio? Try to convert the audio into a different format? I can say .ogg files work 100%.

You might have to set an executable bit on the file. You can do that in the file properties in most file managers, OR by navigating to the directory in a terminal and typing:

chmod +x "./Heaven Studio"

If that gives a file not found error, make sure you're in the same directory as the file and make sure to type it out instead of copying it because I don't know if this comment section is modifying any characters I'm typing.

You open the .riq files by launching the game and clicking on "Play", then selecting one of them in the file selector.

If you do want to open the minigames directly outside of the game by double-clicking them, you can go into the file properties for any riq file and and associate it to run with the Heaven Studio executable instead. (I image they're opening up like zip files for you by default)

Download the Linux version, extract the zip, extract the tar, game is in the newly extracted folder. It should just run.

This exactly. You can just download, extract and run it. I've added it to Steam as a non-Steam game and there are even nice custom cover pictures for it.

this was an experience

Linux version works great here (Steam Deck, nothing special done). Maybe running it on the terminal will give clues about why it doesn't run on your system?

You can hold either ctrl or shift (I forget which) while it's starting to get the option to allow it to run.

The fact that the Linux version is packaged like a subdirectory inside a subdirectory (neither clearly named after the game) inside a tar archive inside a zip archive is a little confusing, so I figured I'd mention it here! Outside of that, this thing is amazing, great work, awesome job.

This was silly and I loved the whimsical music (especially with added Dog).

Yes??? Because I tried it. Turns out it works great.

What was confusing about my response? I'm telling them to just try it and report back.

That's what happens when you get ahead of yourself.

Loved the atmosphere and music. It served as a nice contrast to the absurdity of the story.

Lol I do agree on this. The very fact that the app itself is tagged 18+ and requires you to confirm you're an adult kinda colors the intent behind the tool. Meantime, I just want to use it to bring a little cartoon character to life.

What a fun concept. Could definitely be expanded on too. Love the characters and voice acting.

Wondering if I found a secret ending or the real one though...

I imagine it'll be available on the developer's profile page once it gets released?

Why not try it and let us know how it went? It certainly works perfectly fine on my Steam Deck!

What a cool freakin' program this is. Love how you can even export the project source and do other stuff with it from there on.

Incredibly snappy gameplay and nice music.

This was very cute! Looking forward to the full release. Hoping a little that there'll be a way to disobey in the final thing :)

You deserve more than an average rating of 0 for this.

Well, now I know what a servo is.

Cute little game :)

メッチャ面白かった!

What a silly but great idea. This could honestly be an entire full-fledged game, were it not for this copyright-ridden world we live in...

What a nice little font. I know it's challenging to make a font that really stands out at these pixel sizes and you sure have done it.

Looks Vaporwave af, looking forward to it.

Interesting ARG game. I haven't figured out who she is yet

What an experience.

Starting off strong with those Neon Genesis Evangelion drums

Great new version. I love easter eggs and secrets so this is my kinda jam.

This is great. Works beautifully on Steam Deck without any hassle getting the game to work on some obscure obsolete Adobe platform. Thanks a lot for this!

If I remember correctly it was P but try every letter key otherwise.

Mmmmm, more garbage for me to consume. Nice progress!

Sweet! Good initiative, the games deserve the love.

Good stuff. Good call drawing a line too - the fact that you've effectively developed the game since the DOS days is amazing enough in its own right!

This was very good. Great pixel art, good humor, excellent music. I could feel some of the influence of Moon RPG somehow, too.

This was great. Good original battle mechanics too.
