Fun game, interesting, intense and also quite hard! :D The aesthetic and the aliens are interesting. I like that the levels are randomized (except when they're impossible, lol).  I agree these could help: SFX, score, music volume. Works fine in Linux with Wine. Good luck! :)

I enjoyed playing this, one of the best I tried so far. It's playable and fun. I like that you did the art, too (looks nice). I think this inspired me to take a jab at game art. :)

Worked fine in Linux with Wine. You can easily export for Linux and Mac as well, for the few of us. Happy to see Godot being used. Good luck!

Thanks, Zephysonas! I'm glad you could get over the controls. I'll look into it to learn what I did wrong. Good luck with your game!

Thanks for the feedback, FlushedAle! I'm happy you liked it overall. I should look into the thrusting mechanics later and make it more interesting (enemies and stuff). Thanks for letting me know. Good luck with your game!

Thanks for the input, code.ama! :) I'm glad you liked it.

Can you remember what was weird about the aim? I might try to improve it. No worries if you can't. Have a nice day!

Thank you, Roldy. Have a nice weekend!

Hi Averimon. I'm very happy you enjoyed the game! Thanks for the feedback, it's very useful. The concept, graphics, music - I'll keep in mind for the next game. I think I know that bug, haha, I tried to  alleviate it with self-destruct timers. Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the encouragement! Have a great weekend. :)

Thank you KLF, much appreciated. I'll remember the aspects you liked for my future games. Also, that's a good analogy, I didn't realize it! Good luck with your game, I'll try it as well. Have a nice day!

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for feedback, Scott. This is my first published export from Godot. Your comment was the first thing I read waking up after an all-nighter. Can't wait to play your game, have a nice day! 😊

Thanks for taking the time to figure out the game, and to write the insightful review. :) I can see how some confusion feels like the pandemic. I'm glad that some people are finding the parameters useful. Nice engineering quote, I didn't know that one.

I was on IRC when you wrote about the issue, but I didn't realize it could be my game. :D

Thanks, Stefan! I'm very happy to hear that the parameters added replayability. I'll keep that in mind. Your game is awesome, I'll have to try TIC-80 because of it. :)

Thanks, Andrew! I can indeed credit the current pandemic for inspiration. I'm glad you liked the appearance and sfx, since I'm a newbie with those. Oh, I didn't realize that it's similar to GoL (it even has "life" in the title!).

Agreed about the pict3d install time, it took like 20 minutes here.

Wait, I had "rewind"? (after I finished the game) Now you're telling me! 😂

Thanks! :) Yes, it's quite chaotic, I agree. I tried to make the movement more intelligible, but I ran out of time.

Hm, good strategy, I tried it now and it works. Yes, the resolution is fixed to 1024x768. I should make future games scalable. Thanks for trying the game! :)

I think so. In the last jam I joined, there were two 2-person teams, including the winner.

Same as the others. The idea is very cool, but sadly I couldn't figure out the interaction completely.
