nice punchy game :)

If it were paired with audio this would be a clear winner. The presentation is stunning. The colours, lines, and textures are beautiful, and the animations are timed well.

I think it could use more impactful and punchy hits.
But it does have awesome art and music!

I agree, the balance is a bit cooked. More enemy attacks (ranged, aoe, spikes, bombs, etc)  would have forced more movement and playstyle changes, but I ran out braincells oops haha

This is so hard, I wish I could jump! 😭

But it's indeed juiced to the gills. I like the movement feel, and how smooth and animated everything is.

Yeah I have blood particles in there, but they are quite hard to see now that you mention it. Glad to hear the attacks are inherently fun. Slashing straight after throwing is a great idea for an upgrade! I've got a load of improvements for different spiritual weapon attacks and charged sword passives if I continue with this game (which I just might).

The visuals are great. Funny writing. Good to see Raylib usage!

I'm loving Godot, switched from Unity ~6 months ago and am having a lot of fun.

But yeah, more enemy variety would have helped show off the different mechanics better. All I had done by Friday was the character controller, so I had to quickly slap together an enemy and infinite waves to have a game loop.
