I really enjoyed the artwork and music style, very fun very relaxed. Loved the Azamoth party at the end.

TLDR: I make Bops, Bangers, Bleeps and Bloops to make your game sound amazing.✨

It was a fun twist; I was not expecting that. Clever and well done!

Thanks for playing and the review!!

A fun and relaxed fishing game, open a drink and click away. I liked the reel-in mechanic, a great way to implement it.

The music and sound were good, though my system was having playback issues (Dropping out sound) until I let the game sit running for a while.

I would love to look at all of yours! Any music or sound critiques on ours are appreciated.

Scales of the Deep is an exciting and challenging puzzle game that puts you in the shoes of a deep-sea diver on a quest to become the ultimate predator of the ocean depths. Can you grow strong enough to defeat all the shrimp with only your wits and bait?

Scales of the Deep Description TLDR:

Start weak: break vases or try to catch weaker shrimp to become stronger.

Beware! More robust shrimp can catch you.

Use bait wisely: It lures prey but weakens you.

There is no waste down here:  no point leaving behind good bait.

Conquer Big Shrimpin: The ultimate challenge!

Features are: Simple, strategic, challenging, satisfying, captivating.

Will you succeed? Download and find out!

Thank you for the feedback!  ☺️ and very fair,  we'll make some guides to make start up easier!

Hey, the challenge is part of the fun! 😉 It's all about figuring things out yourself, scaling your moves, and then conquering the next puzzle. It's like being the ultimate predator of the sea, always adapting and evolving. 🦈🏆

Don't give up! The satisfaction of solving a difficult puzzle is worth the effort. 💪

Exactly! You have the essence of it:

Dust bunnies are fiercely competitive, their zeal escalating as they gather more dust. Start with a limited dust supply, strive to accumulate as much as possible, becoming increasingly fervent in your pursuit. However, overreach, and you'll be left with nothing. Waste time dallying, and your dust will be swept away by the wind (the timer will expire). Whether you aspire to be the dustiest bunny you can be or the dustiest bunny in the world, remember, we are all merely dust in the wind...

Very pretty game, great job!

Loved the wobbly physics added to the play, It made the game more unpredictable and fun.
The Music & SFX was fun and peppy, well written. Fun use of changing the piece once you've hit you're highscore, a good way to add energy.

Fun stuff!

Loved the sound effects. lots of fun and great use of lighting!

Wow, Thanks for the well-thought-out review and summary!  <3

Oh this is perfect! I'll play through the list, Please enjoy our little Dust Bunny! https://itch.io/jam/1-bit-jam-n2/rate/2374239
