See my last devlog, completely removing and reinstalling with client is savest! At least duplicate file issue is fixed by that…

what other errors are you getting? curious if it is unrelated to above

great, if you didn’t use the itch client, the mentioned bug shouldn’t affect you. it was only due to the way butler handles patches and or the way the client applies them to existing installations 

sure then I can’t help you unfortunately!

The relevant lines in renpy exceptions is by the way the last two or three.

Also please feel free to contact the itch support that they may reconsider the word’s “install” and “uninstall” for their client! 

seems to be working fine for everyone else, and yes reinstall makes sense, since the itch client just copy pastes over the old files, resulting in the duplicate label exception…

That said, without you telling what exception you are running into your post isn’t helpful for getting any help

Thanks a lot! Another question: Does starting the game with the itch app take unusually long? For me it takes over a minute... (Unfortunately I don't have a second computer ...)

Also please tell me if your saves are working properly, I messed something up with the initial folder structure.
Worst case you could backup saves, delete the game and redownload!

Ad 1) That would mean them getting a route, maybe some time, but it would take a very long time

Ad 2) Not added yet

Ad 3) Multiple businesses will get girls at some point, cinema will probably function more like a date hub eventually

Ad 4) All the girl rooms will get something similar to what Kate already has at some point :) It’s just always the choice for me of spending time on small stuff, or doing another route, the second option seems to be the more popular one on my last patreon poll on that topic!

thanks! Just to be save, try to save only when there is a textbook, or on the map screen :)

Theoretically anywhere should be fine, but that way you absolutely can‘t save while in some kind of temporary loop the game doesn’t write into saves.

Is it only the quicksaves? First screen shows you in the saving menu, you didn’t overwrite, correct?

Playing on windows or joiplay or other emulator?

I never touched anything in the Renpy Standard Game files, so my ability to help may be limited!

no that’s fine, it only checks after you get to the next stage, unfortunately having those quest texts update on demand wasn’t implemented early on, so now it’s a pain to make them more adaptable.

There will be certainly more with the main girls!

After 0.7 I will start filling out the world more.

The side girls are neat to add a baseline to random encounters, for example the voyeur and sauna events have the side girls + extra scenes with the main girls depending on progress.

This plus additional actions (like train option with Sophie and Jenny) will also be added to every girl eventually.

Due to work I can’t spend as much time as I would love to on the game, but I won’t disregard any early content and revisited and improve eventually 

I agree, she was the first set of sprites I made :)

I kept it for now, but all the early sprites will be rethought at some point :)
