I think I mostly had difficulty aiming and moving at the same time.
I might just be a total noob to this type of game though, idk
If I were to make an easy mode for myself to play, I would probably just lower the health of the emenies, I think that's all I needed.
Also another idea is to maybe aim with the mouse
But it's your game though, so do your thing :)
Also I just want to say that this game looks amazing, and as a designer myself, I really appreciate it.
Thanks so much!
Not sure why that doesn't work for you, what the companion meant was that when you change directions there's no down time stopping and accelerating in the other direction, it just immediately goes to the other direction at full speed.
Tip: you can spam A and D to balance yourself on a single circle :)
FOR EVERYONE WHO WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME - PLEASE READ THIS:
The game isn't in a normal state when I uploaded it, which means you can't play it if you just download it.
TO PLAY THE GAME:
1. Open the file gameDescriptorTest.txt.
2. search for the word START (it's near the end)
3. delete it, and paste it in the very first line of the file (in it's own line, without anything else in that line. Just "START").
4. save and close
5. Open the file main.gd
6. search for the line "success = 0" (near the end as well)
7. delete it
8.save and close
Now the game will work like normal without any issues - Enjoy!
Phaser is a game about challenging and varying platforming levels, with simple but well thought-out visuals, and gameplay.
The Game is built of Phases - each with its unique visuals, abilities, and entities, that are simple to understand, but hard to master.
For example, here is a screenshot of Phase3:
And Here is a screenshot of Phase1:
Other than jumping and moving left and right, nothing is transferred between Phases, which makes the experience unique compared to other games.
The Demo contains 4 Phases, for a total of 30 mins+ of playtime!
The game is in early development, but I think it's late enough to be posted here, and enjoyed by many.
Updates will come rapidly! Look forward to drastic changes very often.
You Can Try Out This 30 Mins+ Demo On The Game's Page Here
Also, tell me what you think of this game - and I will give it my all, to make changes, based on your feedback :)
