theres a bit of a bug with roots. But it should be fixed in 6.6

Nah, I tried but its going to end up being a lot more trouble than I feel like it would be worth.

Old is essentially the backlog, they may or may no longer exist or are hard to reproduce and they ones in new take priority over them.

Its bugged in 6.3 but fixed in 6.4

Try using the console command "gc.CollectGarbageEveryFrame 1"

I have no idea what causes the fatal error, 130 I know is something related to garbage collection.

It looks like at some point the thing spawning it lost the requirement to check against. Should be fixed in 6.4b and hopefully I'll be able to switch over to a system that doesn't have this problem. Because the same thing happened with the sword in the stone.

open console and type "fly" to no clip, then "walk"


It would help to know what your stats were, it may be an issue with size or legs causing you to go through the ground

you need to beat the temp final boss then enable debug in the settings menu

They're the chest around save points. However it is busted in 6.1 and will delete items, fixed in 6.2

The free version is always 1 month behind. If you want specifics you can check through the changelog for each version, basically 6.2 had a lot of bug fixes and optimization.

I believe its a bug that happens based on how certain modifiers stack. It should be fixed in 6.1 and onwards, however you will need to restart a save. 6.1 is the new overworld though, so its a perfect time to restart.

dang, sorry to hear that. Not sure what else I can do to fix it, and as far as I've heard youre the only one with this error. Have previous versions worked for you? Also your file says your missing a DLL, try running the prereq setup

it depends on how deep you go. Usually if an enemy does not run away from you it means you can't step on it

I figured it out. Will be fixed in version 6.1

I am trying to figure out what is causing this. I believe its because of NPCs getting negative growth modifiers. I can't seem to be able to replicate it, whenever I test skills like that they work just fine.

some dialog is broken. I had to redo the entire system and manually transcribe them into the new one and I missed a few like the followers not leaving. It will be fixed in the next update.

Lich quest is broken in 5.8. The dialog system finally died it started forgetting random things no matter how many times I would add it back in. 

Had to transcribe everything in the new system for 5.9, but it should work fine in that version and no more future random loss.


You can deslime yourself via the character creator at the bottom. Just remove the material and the bones.

If you're having trouble logging in there is a few things you can try

- add game as firewall exception
- check host files, make sure there is no GrowthRPG.com included
-if you just made a Patreon account, wait a day or two
-Check DNS Settings
-Disable any VPNs

try downloading it on the Itch.io app. Its a lot more stable than the website.

going to be fixed Wednesday, I think the script for triggering growth got busted

I uploaded a fix yesterday and it should be good in 0.5.2a

you can save a characters appearance by copying that code at the bottom of the menu.

I disabled the plugin that was handling the graphics options because it was causing crashes. You can still manually edit the setting in the gameusersettings.ini file in the config folder. They will be back in 5.1

I have found what is causing it, and it should be incredibly rare now. I have had one reported instance, so not totally gone unfortunately.

Its way more stable in 4.8, but will still occasionally happens. I think I figured out what is causing it though, hopefully it should be gone in 4.9

nah, maybe a few years ago, but I don plan on doing any major system changes, and I don't want to subject anyone else to my terrible code

4.6 does crash less, I think I fixed it in 4.7 but we'll see when it gets released and other people can test it. But it only happens on the main world, so you can stick to dungeons and it shouldn't happen

sadly no, still no idea why its crashing and I have tried a lot

it should be fixed in 4.4 you can hit escape and that will get you out of any growth animations
