Later this month

Only the latest version for mac. Sorry.

I'll look into it

Apologies for the late reply. Are you having trouble downloading the update from Itch? I'm not sure I understand your comment.

Yes, currently the game is free to play. You're paying for early access only.

You can wait a few days until Part 4 is publicly released. Alternatively, you can support the game by purchasing it at its current price.

Sure, go ahead and delete it. If you're using the default Ren'Py save location, you won't lose any data. Although, I recommend starting a new game and skipping to the part you want to play.

You can't update the game. You'll have to download the latest part.

Thanks for the appreciation, but remember, it's all fiction, bro! 😂 Some things just look better in visual novels, not in real life.

Thanks

It's not in settings, it's implemented in the game codes by default. Please share a screenshot of the issue here or, preferably, on the Discord server.

Please share a screenshot of the text that is not visible. I addressed this issue a long time ago during testing and playthrough by implementing text outlines in dialogues.

Hey, thanks for the amazing review.

Regarding Oliver's long neck, I generally use the same character model to maintain the immersive experience. So if in some scenes his neck looks weird, it might be due to the pose or lighting. Regardless, I'll see what I can do.

Edit: While testing the game, I realized you might be referring to the conversations between Oliver and Ryan in Part 1.

I acknowledge that the render quality is somewhat poor at the beginning, but it improves significantly as you progress through the game. It was a learning curve for me, hence the uneven render quality.

😂

It's "The Great Art of Living" by Jay Ray

Thanks for your offer to help, I appreciate your support and encouragement. While I don't have someone reading the text for me before adding it, I prefer to work on this project independently as it's a personal creative journey for me. However, I'm constantly striving to improve, and your feedback is invaluable in that process. I hope you continue to enjoy the updates as they come out later this year!

Hi Simon,

Thank you for the review, and I'm glad you liked the game. The update will be launching later this month. I'll soon make a public announcement regarding the release dates on my Patreon page. You can also follow me there, as well as on Discord, to stay updated.

I've already fixed the error you mentioned, so you won't encounter it the next time you play the game. As for the English dialogues in the game, I do my best to keep them simple and of high quality, but English is not my native language, so it can be challenging for me. Nevertheless, I don't like to make excuses for any mistakes I make. I'm constantly learning and improving to provide a better gameplay experience for all of you. I'll be reworking Part 1 whenever I find the time.

Thank you for your support! ❤️

Thank you for the detailed review. I truly appreciate it when players like you take the time to provide thorough feedback.

I did include a disclaimer at the beginning to caution players about the content, But as you suggested, I am also considering adding an 'Agree' button for players to avoid accidentally overlooking the disclaimer.

Regarding the choices, 'Darker' was originally conceived as a kinetic novel without branching storylines, which is why there aren't many choices. However, the choices players make will hold significance in later updates, even though the main storyline won't change substantially.

Once again, thanks for the feedback and rating. I'm glad you liked the game❤️

Thanks for the feedback.

You can use Text outline code in renpy to solve this issue.

Glad you liked the game. You can follow me on Patreon for development updates ❤️

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll keep that in mind.

Suggest me improvements kelly.
