Hi, my free time is massively limited at the moment, but I would be interested in shooting the breeze.

Love it! a small suggestion, maybe some lives -- just to give the player a chance of getting the hang of it.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to play the game and for leaving feedback.

I'm glad you enjoyed meeting people in the Corridor – creating an array of characters for players to interact with is a major focus for me.

Regarding your points 1 & 2, the long-term plan is to provide players with an ‘Omstrad Organizer’ that will allow them to store their thoughts and inventory, as well as offer additional information and tasks to aid their role. In the short term, you’ve given me a ‘lore-friendly’ idea to incorporate in the next update: using the Arigeta watch to allow players to check their messages, which will include their quests.

As for point 3, I want to balance not overwhelming players with too much information at the start while allowing the characters and items encountered to reveal the story post-Element Zero, alongside trying to capture some of that Cold War paranoia of the period and the general confusion such a disaster would create. As the game expands, there will be more information to discover – but I take your comment on board and will strive to improve this aspect.

Once again, thanks for playing and providing your feedback.

Fair comment. It is one I want to revisit, as I want to add a couple of variations - ;ve just been put off a little bit by the recent changes to Unity.

A good piece of writing , enjoyed the tale.

Very atmospheric, and good writing

I hope this helps: It seems you have put a great deal of thought into the character side when creating all the stats, but then suddenly, as a player, these three companions appear, and all that happens is their stats are rolled. In the backstory bit, you mention the player has hired them in a tavern, but as a player, I would like to know more.

What made me choose Mossy? Was Robyn the only mercenary at the bar? Do they have any traits I need to be aware of? Why should I listen to them, etc.

Took a while to get into the "it" , but I like the idea, on my third attempt!

Intriguing and impressive on the RPG Stats.  A small suggestion, story-wise it would be nice to know who my companions are.

A climb ladder would be awesome

I've made some minor tweaks to the controls, hopefully an improvement, but still some way to go.

The graphics are definitely helpful and a welcome addition. I played the game before the update and got a little lost in what was going on. One minor criticism, if I may, I feel like I am getting stuck in loops, for example with the alley cat girl. I think if you are returning to a character or stall, then it needs something to show you have been there and done that.  Look forward to the next update.

Mainly random, I think it's more a case of putting aside time and playing a game , regardless if it is your taste or not, and thinking what works. This has led me playing some very strange things! As I am interested in Ink at the moment, I've also been looking at what everyone has posted on the ink discord or has tagged ink on itch.io. Are you continuing your Bluebottle game ?

Hi, saw this on the discord server. Whilst I won't pretend to be the audience for this game, what I found interesting was;  where you posted the game first on discord along with the Emily Short article (and the following articles posted in response), seeing how you incorporated that information.  I am impressed by the sense of flow and pace you have achieved. I look forward to reading future updates.

Enjoyed, like the repeat with the waking up. Also, a very good use of sound - not overdone.

Enjoyable, had a feel of a storyteller

I like the sense of urgency you have created, enjoyed.

Hi, many thanks for taking the time to comment. I take your point on the introduction, I am slowly working on illustrating the whole thing, but I think I might need to add something more eye-catching near the start.

Very atmospheric, look forward to exploring some of the other endings

I enjoyed this, some nice writing in there.

some genuine laugh out loud lines, enjoyed

thanks for pointing that out, question is whether to fix or make it a feature ;-)

interesting idea, and a great feel to it

Thanks, it comes from an old tv show called family fortunes

A timeless classic and you have done it justice

A bit of  nostalgia (I hope, and a very little bit I might add) for those of you who remember the 8 bit video game Kane back in the eighties.

48-50-52 The Brexit Magic Unicorn Game.

Can you tell the difference between 48, 50 or even 52 magic unicorns ?  should be easy right ?

really like it,good stuff

Hi,

First game up here, and first game I have actually completed. Forks and Knives sees you break into the mansion of the band Chance & the lucky aces , to steal the ingredients to make their world famous grog.

Heavily inspired by manic miner - but a lot more easy!!
