Started a new game and it reveals the fog now.
No clue if it was the hotfix, random space magic or eldritch coincidence.
I shall now go to the island to pet more fluffies.
On a side note is Mallo supposed to remain invisible during fun time?
Fuck yeah, a future where I can pet the local monster girls! And fling myself off cliffs with wild abandon!!
If the cliff we throw ourselves off with reckless abandon is too high that we 'fall' unconscious and lose photos, do we fall prey to a sudden surprise snuggle session with a predator as the in universe reason since breaking our ankles and crawling back to camp to sleep it off seems a bit dark for such a cute game?
Just had a thought, random chance that when you come to that you have 1 photo and it's of one of the girls in the area inspecting the camera, like when you have a phone or laptop that takes pictures when opened and it's a pets face.
It could be an accidental selfie that's zoomed in and blurry, random scenery, your character face down ass up with cum dripping out of them, a selfie of the predator that ravaged you holding up their hand in a V for victory gesture with the character in the back ground.
Later down the line the level of familiarity could come into play and the more familiar a species is with you the higher the chance they mess with your camera while your sleeping off the best sex you've had in the last hour: a pic of some girls napping next to your character, putting a blanket on you, putting a sign next to your characters ass that reads "open to public".
I'm mostly having fun with the ideas and hold no expectations, just hope I can make someone laugh.
Well on the bright side the fact you guys are getting haters in the comments more means you have enough popularity that haters are finding the game more.
If I lose the photos in the camera when a predator 'eats' than I can't have one of those jump scare photos where the whole screen is just the face and teeth of the creature that 'ate' me, well I can live with that but will they at least let me pet them a bit before they leave or is it solely a one night stand and skip town deal for them?
On a serious note good job so far, games looking great.
found an interesting bug: I started a new game and after being dropped off at the beach and getting the movement tutorial I tried changing the sneak key to 'C', all buttons stopped working, I could look around with the mouse and the character turned to look but no button worked anymore. Movement, crouching, camera, map, even the menu key stopped working so I had to 'Alt-F4' and restart.
I will make a sacrifice to the dark gods and try again shortly, and this time I will not try to change key binds.
Well taking a bit of a break could go a long way to helping in the long run, if your getting burnt out than forcing yourself to keep working on the game may have adverse effects on both the game and, more importantly, your health.
It could also give Itch some time to cool down and figure their own stuff out but I wouldn't put too much stock in that idea, none of these content websites seem to ever figure their algorithms out.
Hopefully things go smoother in the future for you guys.
Look on the bright side even big multimillion dollar companies like Bethesda can't even fix most of their bugs after 10+ years of working on the same game (looking at you 5/6 separate releases of Skyrim all being as -if not more- buggy than the last.), meanwhile you guys knocked out some major bugs about 3,560 days sooner then that!(if the math is wrong that's because I'm awful at math)
Excellent, more adorable mons to frolic with while taking pictures of scenery.
Will their ever be a petting mechanic, like you don't want sex with the mon right now but they're looking all cute and adorable so just want to give them head pats, snuggles, ear scratches and snuggle with them, maybe give them treats?
I just woke up so I'm groggy and out of it a little so feel free to ignore my ramblings.
Figured the cave was for the bat's, just the idea of walking into a cave and seeing a bunch of mannequins hanging from the ceiling was both funny and fucking terrifying to me, also raises questions when your on an island surrounded by adorable fluffballs: where did the mannequins come from, why are they hanging from the ceiling, was it the first research team or the monster girls who placed them there, why are the denizens of the island so adorable.
Looking exciting, the cave with hanging mannequins however is looking terrifying.
the photo system makes some sense to me, just because one part of a photo looks good doesn't mean it's a good photo. I may find a good spot to get a good photo (IRL) but if it comes out blurry it's not good to me, animals in particular are a bitch to get a good, clean shot of before they move or run away.
