It was fun trying to survive while also having fun trying to spread color around! Could definitely tell the gameplay took inspiration from Vampire Survivors and it felt good! I think it was really fun how so much effort was put into the setting and lore. Good job!

I'm not sure if I missed some mechanics but all I figured out was jumping, and was able to make it to the end screen. I think the idea is very interesting and I did think that the visual effects on the fire/shadow was cool!

It sounds like you have a lot of ideas about the finished product, and it sounds very ambitious! I can tell from what you've written that you maybe didn't have all the time you wanted to work on the game but it also sounds like you have a lot of passion for working more on it which is fantastic! Good luck!

I thought the ambience and mist mechanic really helped make it feel like a creepy experience! I couldn't figure out if there was a way to win as I found 4 beacons and lit them but nothing seemed to happen. I also appreciated having a tutorial level! Good job!

Fun game! Interesting to try to use zombies to your advantage as a game concept!

Interesting concept! I like the idea of allowing water to spread and create fertile soil/flowers, I think it's a great start to a puzzle game. Hope you had fun working on it for your first game jam!

Took a little bit to figure out how to play (I kept thinking the option to make a tower was just a guy sitting on top of the hex lol) but I thought it was interesting! Very quick rounds as I wasn't amazing at it but I thought the style was actually pretty fun with the "Cyber-goblins"! Good job!

I thought the usage of the theme was very fun! It was very hectic running around and just smearing the entire level with jam lol. Good game!

Fantastic experience! I loved the style of it and it was actually a little creepy!

I totally understand, it's a rush to finish everything in time and it probably wasn't an easy thing to try to implement! I think you guys did a great job and I can't wait to play a finished version!

Thanks for playing! Really good thought about having a score of some type at the end, if I'd had some more time that would have been a great way to add some replayability!

Very cool! I love the art style, both the victory and loss screens are very fun! It was an interesting take on the theme to have a tower defense game with an expanding map after rounds. I thought it was funny that I could completely block the enemies' path haha

That's definitely unfortunate, but I think you should be proud that you created something! That was some serious dedication!

I can actually get a lot done if I set my mind to it. I've been struggling to find the motivation to develop recently, as I'll just open a project and do basically nothing if I even get in the mood to start. I wanted to join this jam since I recently found PirateSoftware and I thought joining would help get me back into game dev. I think I was right to do so, since I just completed a full (small and simple) game in only a few days which is more productivity than the last 6 months probably. I'm just feeling accomplished and excited to work more on other projects with some newfound confidence!

Yeah, this game had no right being this good. Thank you for this masterpiece.

Very nice, I like the retro look and sound. As others have said, it's difficult because of the one hit kills but I don't mind it since it might encourage going for highscores.

Hey thanks for playing! I was going for a creepy atmosphere, but I can agree the fog is a little oppressive. Also, no it's not actually possible to lose the game as I didn't want people feeling frustrated from having to restart.

Very impressive work for only a week long game jam! The gameplay was engaging and the art was absolutely phenomenal!
