Oh gosh, this is a mechanic that took me a few tries to get the hang of. At the same time, I did make it to level three on my first try, so I'll call that a win. Second time's easier, as always.

A good variety of enemies, and a fun mechanic to go against them with. This game looks clean and clear, and already has a lil upgrade system to help you defeat the on-coming waves. Definitely recommend, and big kudos for getting this done!

i farm good, very happy.
but really, it's fun! I could see the concept being expanded on in the future and making a game I could sink my teeth into for a while. As it is, you would benefit from tightening the window between invasions-- before wave 2, I had reached over 800 defense, and only needed 150. It made it feel a little like I was wasting time on the second half of the time between waves, since I was already so far over the threshold. I kept faming so that I'd get the coin payout, but then ended up at a point where I had 10 of each seed in my inventory and all my plots full.

The game worked well, though, and I didn't encounter any real noteworthy bugs. There was a small matter of the pop-up for the scythe flickering on occasion, but it wasn't consistent to reproduce, so I'd say that's super minor!

There's some pain points while using the seed UI panels, as they seem to do a number on my computer, but the concept itself is super fun! I'm a big fan of farming games, but I've also loved besting the mines in Stardew Valley, so maybe this is just right up my alley. I was expecting the food to be for healing, but I like using them as projectiles, and they felt useful-- I could save them for when I was getting overwhelmed and then hit through multiple enemies at once to help myself last a while longer.

Overall really good looking and solid concept! Great work!

Super cute! +1 to playing as a cat. And this is a lot for a first game-- good work!

It took me a long time to figure out that I could use B to throw a weapon because I was coming from the jam page and it didn't show me the controls you wrote on the game's full page. It may help to have text floating near the first spawn that tells the player controls (though, with multiple control schemes, adding code to check which they're using is a lot-- so this is kinda a "cool thought" and not a requirement).

Additionally, I found a point in the jumping on clouds where I could fall and ended up falling infinitely through a gray background-- these might be areas to try to playtest for when possible. With just two days to work, it's a sort of expected oversight.

All of the art was adorable, and I'm especially glad that when I idle long enough the cat turns to the camera-- great choices there! The UI for your health and yarn-bombs remaining were also very clear and easy to understand.

Super fun and easy to figure out. The art all works well together, and you even got a volume selection in so I'm not hurting my ears. Honestly, astounding to me for a 2 day jam :0 great work!

The main areas I can see as points to improve are the UI, as you have pretty straightforward and plain text. Separating sections in the end of day for "this is a new recipe," and "this is your next target," would make that a better user experience.

Very cute aesthetics, and the use of different household objects fits the theme well. It's fun to play for a short while, but can get frustrating with some of the levels where the swarms aren't very manageable because the spawns are in such tight quarters that there's no space for the player to exist.

I ran into some issues with the attacks not being consistent to my inputs, and trouble picking things up as I tried the different weapon spawn spots. There's a few areas where the order of objects, like a rug, appear above the player which is a lil distracting as well (but definitely a polish bit that makes sense to miss in such a short timeframe!)

Now that your page is public, you should be able to go to the main page for this game jam and see a "Submit your Project" button next to the timer.

It will open a pop up where you'll be able to see any of your published itch games on a dropdown.

Select your game (tetricide) and hit submit!

Then it'll populate on the entries page after the jam finishes c:
