The process is exactly the same, with the exception that I'm hosting the map file here on itch.

For now they have no use. They will however be used to unlock content in the game like customization accessories, weapons, cheats and decorative items. Right now all content in the game is unlocked, but at some point in the future you will need to use these points unlock it.

This video explains the process.

You have to capture an enemy first using the Dartgun's secondary fire mode, then carry them to a Rescue Zone (they are purple areas with a label). You can't just exit a level when you do this, you have to beat the Mission. In the main menu, press the "L" key to load a secret level that will make capturing enemies much more convenient (it's the one shown in the video).

After that, go back to the starting area and use the Character Customization terminal where you can customize the characters you just saved.

The only other payment option offered is Stripe, which didn't work the first time I tried to set it up. I will give it another go in a couple of days. Thank you for your question.

Sure. Thank you!

The Dam mission is a remake of the first level of Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64, so it's more or less a nod to those who have played the game. I would need to write an extensive guide here, so instead of that you can check this walkthrough by the excellent graslu00:

You spawn reinforcements with the G key in your keyboard. The reinforcements that will spawn are the ones that you assign to the combat ready list in the Institute (the area you start the game in). Use the Character Management terminal to do that.

Sorry for the lack of clarity. As weird as it may sound, I don't always have the time to make tutorials.

You do need to create an Undertow account I think. But it's free so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. To use the poison arrow, right click until the message on the top left tells you that you switched to poison arrows. The arrow should have a green tip.

Here you go:

Absolutely. The test secret map with the 30 dorus was a placeholder solution meant to simplify acquiring enemies while there are not that many maps to play. In the main menu, press the L key to load that secret level. The instructions to install the new map are in the description here: https://www.undertow.club/downloads/excavation-site-defense.6747/

But you are right. I will make a little tutorial video.

Yes, there was a bug, but I fixed it and updated the build a couple days ago. This is solved in the current version of the game.

Hey thanks a lot! Well, I can promise you that I won't abandon the project, but it still might take long to complete.

I'm sorry for not replying before. You need some 3D modelling experience with 3Ds Max. You don't need Unity experience, but you'll have to use it. Everything is detailed in the documentation linked.

It's the only payment option I can accept in my country. You can pay with card using PayPal.

Sorry, but for the moment there's not that much content in the game. All I can offer is the gameplay video I attached at the top of the page. If you're not too sure about the game yet maybe give it some time until I have more to show and thus a better demo.

That was the idea. In the demo you can explore the game and see all the content. You can even see the AI fighting and interact with it in AI Battles.

Not actively, but I'm gonna need more voice work. If you're interested, contact me through discord.

Okay, I'll PM you! In case others have this same question, Patreon is a subscription, but in my case it works exactly the same as just buying my builds here on itch.

For now, I'm not charging monthly, but "per release", and I charge a bit less than on here. Paying $2 will get you access to that month's build when it comes out, and you will only be charged if it comes out, meaning that you won't pay on months that have no release. The difference is that I don't think you will get access to previous builds, so you might have to wait, though I'm not 100% sure.

(1 edit)

Thank you for your interest! Right now PayPal is the only option allowed in my country on Itch. You can get the game on Patreon too since they can take other payment methods, but I think you would have to wait until the next release, which might be at the end of the month. Let me know if you can't get it through Patreon to see if we can find another solution.

Yes. It's a pending feature. I will add an option for that in the settings menu, but I don't have a date for that. Right now collisions between ragdolls do work, but they get disabled after some moments as a way to optimize the game.

Thanks for your feedback!

Have you tried on Patreon? I think you might be able to use other payment methods there. Please, let me know if you're still having trouble.

Oh! First of all sorry for the late reply. You can also acquire the game through Patreon. Please let me know if you're not able to as well.

That's what I'm currently working on. Custom missions! If you're interested in the game, you can join the Discord. I post micro-updates there all the time. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! There is a ton of work still pending. Most of the things you've mentioned will be addressed, but since the scope of the game is bigger than what you're seeing right now in the current builds, I'll first need to work on other core parts of the game. Quality of life and performance improvements are something that normally is resolved at later points in development.

:'(

Yep, dumb me pushed a new update that broke the Training Simulators. I'll fix it in a couple of hours!

Feedback like that is very helpful.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely take it into account.
