The process is exactly the same, with the exception that I'm hosting the map file here on itch.

This video explains the process.
You have to capture an enemy first using the Dartgun's secondary fire mode, then carry them to a Rescue Zone (they are purple areas with a label). You can't just exit a level when you do this, you have to beat the Mission. In the main menu, press the "L" key to load a secret level that will make capturing enemies much more convenient (it's the one shown in the video).
After that, go back to the starting area and use the Character Customization terminal where you can customize the characters you just saved.
Sure. Thank you!
The Dam mission is a remake of the first level of Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64, so it's more or less a nod to those who have played the game. I would need to write an extensive guide here, so instead of that you can check this walkthrough by the excellent graslu00:
You spawn reinforcements with the G key in your keyboard. The reinforcements that will spawn are the ones that you assign to the combat ready list in the Institute (the area you start the game in). Use the Character Management terminal to do that.Sorry for the lack of clarity. As weird as it may sound, I don't always have the time to make tutorials.
Absolutely. The test secret map with the 30 dorus was a placeholder solution meant to simplify acquiring enemies while there are not that many maps to play. In the main menu, press the L key to load that secret level. The instructions to install the new map are in the description here: https://www.undertow.club/downloads/excavation-site-defense.6747/
But you are right. I will make a little tutorial video.
Okay, I'll PM you! In case others have this same question, Patreon is a subscription, but in my case it works exactly the same as just buying my builds here on itch.
For now, I'm not charging monthly, but "per release", and I charge a bit less than on here. Paying $2 will get you access to that month's build when it comes out, and you will only be charged if it comes out, meaning that you won't pay on months that have no release. The difference is that I don't think you will get access to previous builds, so you might have to wait, though I'm not 100% sure.
Thank you for your interest! Right now PayPal is the only option allowed in my country on Itch. You can get the game on Patreon too since they can take other payment methods, but I think you would have to wait until the next release, which might be at the end of the month. Let me know if you can't get it through Patreon to see if we can find another solution.
Thanks for the feedback! There is a ton of work still pending. Most of the things you've mentioned will be addressed, but since the scope of the game is bigger than what you're seeing right now in the current builds, I'll first need to work on other core parts of the game. Quality of life and performance improvements are something that normally is resolved at later points in development.
