A really unique game and approach to the theme soft! I very much enjoyed the art style, it's an interesting mix of cartoonish and gritty that gives a very unique vibe to the game. Also really enjoyed the intense soundtrack, definitely gets the adrenaline going XD One suggestion I have is to make it a bit clearer that the item upgrades have a keybind. It was also a little bit difficult physically to manage the movement direction, attack direction, and item upgrades on a keyboard. One small bug I noticed is that if I was attacking when I died, the attack animation continued to play during the death screen. Overall, really polished build for a game jam!

Nice concept and characters! I loved the way that some story-building was presented in the recipe book and in customer dialogue. It did seem like there were some inconsistencies between the words used in the recipe book and the words displayed on the soda machine (Coke, Pepsi, and Root Beer were listed in the recipe book, but the machine said Honey Fizz and other fictional sodas). Also, I noticed that when I did make the wrong drink, it seemed as though the game was unable to proceed, even if I re-made the drink correctly. Some indication of the flavor shots working, whether a sound effect or a colored symbol on the cup, would also help gameplay.
Really great art style and premise! Definitely matches the theme very well :) I found that the art, music, and sound effects worked together wonderfully to create a cozy atmosphere, definitely could see this as a slow-paced cozy game to play for hours. I look forward to how you plan to expand the game in the future!
Really funny premise and simple, easy-to-pick-up gameplay! I really enjoyed trying out all the different weapons, although there were definitely some that made gameplay almost too easy. I'm not really sure if there is a programmed "end" or "win" condition as it seemed to on until you died. Very funny designs as well, especially for the bomb pick-up item!
A pleasant read, for sure! I would have enjoyed something that prompted interaction from the reader though. I would suggest doing research on some solo journaling-based rpgs and using those as a model for incorporating reader interaction/gameplay. You can find a lot here on Itch.io, like Thousand Year Old Vampire!
