Congratulations on winning the ranking and thanks for participating in the jam! I'm not sure how to go on about contacting you for the prize, I thought there's private msg option on itch but apparently not. Could you add me on Discord? Dwarfnaut#4429 or #dwarfnaut (idk which one discord uses now)

I love it :D Feels like a blend between Myst and The Witness. I got stuck in some places or got to later areas without completing earlier first, but in the end figured it out. The closing your eyes mechanic is great, really liked the part where you have to estimate the walking time to not fall off. Would've liked to maybe enhance the hearing sense when closing your eyes? It feels counter-intuitive that the sounds would be so strongly muted. Overall great job!
Hi!
I honestly haven't thought about creating a discord server at all. It's my first time making a jam and didn't expect this many people to even join/be interested in it. I hope the community tab here on itch is enough for now :) if you mean ways of finding teammates in general, maybe on r/INAT or other jam related subreddits, or just here on itch "Game Jams" tab in the community
Hope you find someone to work with!
Orceard (orchard in Old English) is a 10-day game jam focused on themes, styles and overall aesthetics. Whether it be an overgrown greenhouse, a wooden castle, a skeletal trainyard, a dark bunker, an aquatic library, or a simple lemon orchard, this jam is all about the bizarre environments - vertical slice, asset creation, walking sim, anything playable is allowed. The important part is including the theme in some sense! Beginners and advanced jammers alike are most welcome!
THEME: lemon orchard

I've always felt there is a lack of hyper-focused jams, specifically for level design, with specific locations/themes/aesthetics. I'm a sucker for these things, so maybe it's too biased. This is my first time creating a game jam, so any feedback is welcome! :D
Yeah, if time permitted we would probably go for having headlights working for at least few seconds of the drive, so you get the feel (and sight) of the road. The trick is to mostly always drive forward and not steer too much to the sides, cause you'll end up just doing a zigzac all the time. As soon as you hear the gravel sound, you try to steer away. The tire screech is when you're very close to the ditch.
I could only give the game to one other person to test out before submitting so yeah, hahah, definitely gonna do more user tests in the future.
Thanks a lot!
