It was really entertaining! I like the high difficulty of the game (took me a few tries to beat it) and the music fits very well to get you immersed in the gameplay. Also, the artstyle looks really nice. Love it!
Hi! Thank you for the feedback. I totally understand the preference for using the spacebar for jumping, so I'll look into that to make the controls as confortable as i can for the next patch ;)
Thanks for the feedback! I agree, the items and coins may be too expensive... I was working on adjusting those prices, but probably needed some more reference or playtesting to get it right. I'll check the enemy hitboxes and try increasing the knockback (they do have some, but it's minimal). I'd love to see your opinions after the next patch!
I believe you have to ask someone on the discord server to help you with submitting your game. About voting, the top 10 games from the community votes are the ones selected for the judges to test. So, i dont think a submission without community votes would be able to win :(
Nice game! It would be good to have a win condition, because once you have enough elixir you can become kinda invincible and the game stops being a challenge (I reached about 62k elixir in my 3rd playthrough, and quit because it was gonna be really hard to die at that point)
