nice!

Ah, yeah I probably should've made a better tutorial, and maybe I could improve the enemies a bit in a later update. Thank you for playing!

Yeah, I always kind of felt the drift mechanic was a bit hard to use, but I ran out of time to fix it. I think that knocking sound is the shooting enemies shooting. Thanks for playing my game !

Ah, thats ok, sorry it wasn't clear enough, thanks for playing my game anyways

Very fleshed out and polished game, very nice graphics and game juice, played it for way longer than thought I would

I liked the idea of having your movement restricted in order to capture a planet, whilst having to fend off enemies, it got me to strategize and think about my position and which enemy to shoot first. Solid game

Cool game! I liked that you could see your previous trajectory to help you aim. Cool ideas for different levels too

Probably the most interesting take on the theme I've seen yet

Nice level design, and cool pixel art, I like it. The character kinda feels a bit slidy and difficult to control, which kinda makes the tight precision platforming of the level hard, but still cool game and idea overall.

Good platformer movement, felt really smooth to control. I liked the dialogue, was pretty funny.

I really enjoyed the gameplay, felt really cool to strategize and come up with synergies between your different ships. Really well done

Interesting idea for an auto shooter, i think theres a lot of potential with the roguelike deckbuilding idea. Good job, and respect for doing it in 2 days.

Very interesting take on the theme. I liked the calm and upbeat music, and the mechanics and upgrades were very fleshed out. Very nice work

Really good use of graphics and sound effects, I was very on edge the whole time from the vibe alone. The camera did feel a bit too sensitive, but that didn't take away from the experience at all. Really good game, great job!

Interesting idea with the perspective, did find it a little hard to tell where I was aiming, so some sort of indicator or crosshair might help. I like the variation between the different levels and the obstacles they bring. Good job!

I really liked the heavy metal music, got me feeling hyped when I first started. It would be nice to have some feedback for when an enemy hits you, and it was a little hard to tell whether I was actually moving, but overall interesting game idea with potential.

Solid first person movement, I found myself trying to parkour across the squares while looking for objectives. A little hard to see tho, but it fits the theme and makes you feel quite lost.

Cool art and sounds, I liked the enemy and level designs. Kinda hard to hit your shots since you're limited to 2 directions, but good job for a weeks work!

Thats a good idea! Thanks for playing my game

Overall quite a fun little topdown shooter, I especially liked the voicelines, they added a lot of personality and charm to the game. It would be nice if you had some indication of your ammo, I found that I'd go to attack enemies with one or two bullets and then die because I couldn't fight back once my gun ran out. I also found that the enemies projectiles were a bit too fast to predict, it felt like I couldn't shoot at them without risk of instantly being shot as well.  The generous checkpoints did help with this though. Overall, very solid game for only a weeks work

I liked the vibes and the story, very well made, the mechanic of being able to warp back to a planet that you launched from was a good addition, as I found myself missing my target planet a lot. The music really added a lot to the tone of the game as well :)

Interesting take on the theme, the controls felt good and easy to use, and good use of minimalist art! My only issue is that I kind of didn't know what to do or where to go, and some of the mechanics like the springs felt a bit inconsistant to use. Either way, still very cool game!

I liked the sound design and music, gave a calming and whimsical vibe. The controls were a bit slippery, but it makes sense for the theme. Was a little bit difficult to figure out what to do, so a tutorial could help if you decided to continue this project. Cool game!

Anybody know what the typed words mean?

Fair enough, the art just was taking too long to create, which took up time that couldve been spent on gameplay. If i make it to next round ill try to improve on the movement and add more depth to the gameplay. Thanks for the feedback

First thing imma do if i get to round 2 is make some lore, thanks for the idea!!!!

yoooo, my fellow samurai man, thanks for playing, I enjoyed your game too, very well made

thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed

Feel free to post your best time here!

Hi everyone! If you have any feedback about the game, or you have any issues to report on that can be fixed for the next build, feel free to leave them in this message board.

Ooooh, yes please, i really enjoyed this jam and would love to be a part of the 2nd one!

thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks, let me know if theres any major issues that can be fixed before the jam ends officially

I think so, but I've never run a game jam so I don't know

Who else is making a game about a rover?

My advice is: Don't panic! You'll be surprised at what you can create in a month, and you'll have a lot of time to reiterate on ideas and prototypes if you need to. The goal of a game jam is to have fun with the process, and just to make something.

Thank you big man

good game for your first game.

simple, and fun, got a high score of 29
