Hey hey. I have neither of the platforms above so I sent a form via feedback a few days ago. Let me know if it didn't go through and I'll try again!

Hi Seth, I was wondering if there's an email to get in touch (or Discord). Topics include: maybe commissioning expanded sprite sheet and also contributing to said sheet with additions/modifications I've made.

If neither are of interest then I'll just say thanks for the cool sprites!

I'm trying this out because I'm thinking of streaming, and I'm wondering: Is it possible to not have the avatar bounce up on speech? I have all the movement down to 0 but it still bounces, so I'm wondering if I'm missing a toggle somewhere.

Thanks!

Edit: Uhhhhhhhh..... found it. The slider not being tied to a sprite threw me.

Thanks so much!

After unlocking the last upgrade on the top left, I went into integer overflow and crashed hehe. It was really fun though and the visual style is really appealing.

I would love to interview this caveperson, I have so many questions. Who IS the scary fish lady? Is she based on a real person? Why do they "heh" at their own pain? Truly, a deep and complicated character, worthy of their own franchise.

It's like a society, but of squirrels?! WHAT! The early game requires a bit more clicking than I'd like but after that it's nice to have it automated. Really fun!

The music is great and keeps you staring at the screen, the whole experience is almost hypnotic. Very cool!

That's fair, and the tutorial window that is in doesn't exactly have any visuals. Thanks for playing, and for the feedback!

This was fun! Hydras are cool! I also love the mismatch between the 2D background, the high-res bakery, and the 3D hydra, it somehow all comes together with its own quirky style!

I love the music! The game's also very addicting :D   I kind of wish buying new bots added slots in rows, so you could see all the inventories at the same time instead of clicking on the bots though, but that's my only nitpick. Awesome job!

Thanks so much! :D

Really fun puzzles, well thought-out. The direction of the arrow rotation is exactly opposite to what I expect every time though (probably just a me thing).

Simple but fun! I got cocky and the zombies all got faster.

I got stuck after finding the  key in the pig, I couldn't find what it opened - but I tend to suck at these puzzle games. In fact as I'm writing this I just thought of something I didn't try, I'll try it after :D   I liked this because being stuck in the room made it feel like there was no pressure. The music is nice too!

I'm a bit confused whether I lose for the logs hitting just the otter or if hitting the bottom is bad too. Otherwise neat concept!

Thanks for the reply and clarification!

Really fun! I tried mashing a bunch of buttons next to the bug with the chest but couldn't get any interaction though. Otherwise the movement felt good, not too slippery to land the small platforms and whatnot. Was able to cheese the (2nd? 3rd?) level with wall jumping over the middle. Coyote timing would have made it feel a lot better, but it's a game jam. Visually, it's very pretty and immersive.

Very nice!

Thank you! Yeah there's a lot I didn't have time for, like a lose state. The art is by Joey Wheeler from the jam discord!

Hello,

I just tried to register for the upcoming (Forest) jam, but the Google Doc has options pertaining to the AI Jam and the previous event. Also if someone wishes to register as their online self, what should be entered for the Name/Last Name? As-is it kind of feels like mandatory doxxing.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, and thanks for checking out the game! The only thing I can think of is that the build is only for Windows (alas). If that's not the issue, I'm not sure what I could do since the final building of the game is handled by Godot.

It took me a while to find the tab key for the inventory, but once I did I was quite impressed by the sophistication of the combat! I can't seem to survive very long, though xD  I kind of wish the combat handled itself, since there's only one button to press (unless there's plants with different attacks that I just never got to). Another thing is the animation of the witch brewing, after grabbing a few things from her I wish I could skip past it.

But on top of the combat, I liked the visuals, the farmer's animation is cute. The music is a jam, too. Great work!

I won! I might have missed something but the coins don't seem to do anything? (and they stopped appearing for me after the first screen).

The movement scheme threw me off, and the game description has a different "right move" key than in-game. It makes the game a bit harder but not more fun, I have to say.

It's a fairly standard set of mechanics, move, shoot, avoid damage, wome enemies track you and others are more like static obstacles. I'd call it a good start in the genre, but needs a lot of smoothing on the gameplay.

Also for the floor, any kind of border/texture on the tiles would have made it easier to tell where/how fast we are moving.

As a 20 Minutes Till Dawn fan I really liked the feel of this one, the reloading is smooth as are the speed transitions of your character. Shooting feels satisfying. The enemies having hitboxes for each other adds a layer of strategy cause you can make the red ones get stuck behind basic enemies hah.

Only "bug"(?) is the firing delay seems to kick in after reloading, so it takes forever to shoot after reload if you have the multishot. Other than that, variety of upgrades was a bit repetitive but it's a fun horde game.

I didn't really have time for an in-game tutorial, so it's in the game description! That button is a reset, yes. The icons you see with spacebar are resources, but the fuller explanation of those is in the description. Hope that helps!
