Okay I loved that, wonderful job!

Thanks for the feedback! If you're having trouble I would suggest dragging the items to Sophia and seeing if she can give you a helping hand! If that doesn't work, try assembling the objects in a different order. Please let me know if you're still having trouble and I can give some more specific hints.

I am both amused and confused.

Thanks! As for how to get past the umbrella here are some hints:
1) The haystack is suspicious, you may want to have Sophia investigate it!
2) Needles and thread are always a great combo!
3) Having too much fabric is a no-go, use something to cut it down to size.
4) Something about the umbrella is off, you may want to have Sophia investigate that!

Thanks so much for the feedback!

Jamtober 2018 community · Created a new topic Judging?

Hi! I was just wondering how exactly judging was going to be done, since right now it appears I'm the only one who's played and rated the other games? Anyways have a lovely day!

Hi! Any help would definitely be appreciated! I can add you to our chat on discord if you want? My discord is Sibyl#4108.

That is understandable, but to be fair reading the instructions is generally important for well... understanding what to do? I am sorry if you felt frustrated because of needing to read instructions, but we decided against an in-game tutorial because it kinda ruined the mood and flow of the game. That being said, thank you for taking the time to play our game!

I'm sorry that you don't understand how our game fits the theme. At it's base level the game is centered on mechanics that necessitate the use of spam-clicking to remove various forms of danger (so to win you must spam-click). As for the pixel graphics everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I have always been a fan of games that use them!

Yes, Cecile is rather clumsy! And we made the game difficult on purpose. Personally, I think part of the fun is trying to get all of the death scenes!

Sounds good! If you want you can add me on Discord to make communicating easier (Sibyl#4108).

Hello! I might be interested! I tend to prefer to helping with the creative side of game creation (I excel at plot creation/development and composing basic looping music (in LMMS)).

Wow, thanks for taking the time to play our game and all the others from this game jam! I'll definitely have to watch the video series!

Thank you! Sorry about the confusion with the control keys, we did set them to wasd, which is explained on the game page (but isn't on the game jam page so I can understand the confusion!).

Yeah admittedly they are kind of hard to hear over the music, especially depending on where in the loop the music is. When we were making the game we wanted more of a "wait a second did I just hear footsteps", but I think we ended up making them a bit too quiet. Thanks for letting us know!

Yes, there are three possible endings! Thanks for the feedback about the sound effects, I think we will try and add more and increase the volume for some of the existing sounds.
