You're so understanding, thank you! ^-^ I wish you well on your own projects, I know for sure you've motivated me to do better on mine :)

I cannot express how much joy your comment gave me ;-;
Thank you so so so SO much for your words and your support <3 I love creating these things and I wish I could pour all my time into them and bring them forth a lot sooner. But I can tell you that I do intend on finishing this story with much better graphics and overall quality, but because it's so incredibly long and demands a lot of attention, I'm forced to drag it out and work on other things as well ;-;

Thank you for your patience, I hope to be worthy of it <3

...

He shook his head, as if just now realizing that he was letting his own miserable life in.
   “So anyway, as I was saying…”
The warlock went on and on, explaining away how the story wrapped itself up in a neat bow of betrayal, love and loss and a taste of real human nature. An hour and a half had already passed since he’d first sat down, and the sudden realization was like a boulder upon his passion. His world darkened once he’d silenced himself, listening to the unending peace that was around him - the wind blowing through his greying hair, the birds chirping in the distance, the wildflowers rustling - and yet he could feel no peace within, only a wreaking thunderstorm of grief.

 He stood up immediately, throwing Leni one last glance before scurrying back to the mansion, where he leaned against the door after he’d slammed it shut. He stayed there, in that same position, for a good moment before finally gliding over to the window next to it. He looked at Leni, his eyes turning glassy with tears. 'How have I allowed myself to become so pathetic?' He thought, 'talking to a stone statue, treating it as though it is a real woman… only a fool would do such a thing. '
   'Unless,' he paused, 'What fool can make stone breathe?'

Hello to all!
I've just come on here to announce that work on 'The Stone Servant' is still very much under way. The text above is a sliver of the last few scenes before the warlock finally decides, well... to take matter in his own hands and put an end to his previous ways.

If you are new to my project, allow me to provide a short explanation:

I am an independent artist and visual novel developer working on a project called "The Stone Servant";

This is not a 'game', but a minimally interactive illustrated story that plays itself out until the time for an ending comes - this is where you come in - you get to make a choice between two or more options through which the story will guide itself until its happy, not so happy or bittersweet end. No matter the outcome, I aim to craft a satisfying end for each plot point - as you, the potential reader, very much deserve.

Thank you! I'm very glad. :)

Thanks! ^_^

Oh wow! Thank you so much for your kind words! You have no idea how much you've motivated me to keep going, and bring forth the best possible result I can muster. I hope to not disappoint :')
And thanks again!

Hello there!
I'd like to announce this cool new project I've started working on:

The warlock is a peculiar yet very talented man, who once had a beloved wife with whom he shared an estate and a profession. He still resides there, even years after said wife’s mysterious disappearance. Try as he might, he never could dig up the fate that befell his love. So he retreated; closed the doors of his manor and his soul and continued existing, unhappily…barely. Today, he spends the entirety of his days by reading books with tales of romance and bold adventure and … talking with his only friend, a stone statue of a nameless woman, propped up in a broken fountain in his back garden.
    One especially melancholy day, he gets the idea of bringing his stony companion to life using his vast knowledge of sorcery, and to his own surprise, succeeds.
       The fragmented warlock might not make the best of decisions, his mind addled by years of misery – But YOU get to choose how his story will end.

~

Thing is, I don't know how many people are actually willing to read an illustrated book (which is what this is, more or less) with only a SINGLE choice given to you at the very end, as to give you the opportunity to see a few different outcomes and choose the one you prefer most - unlike in an actual novel, where you are stuck with a single ending which you may or may not like.

I could make this in to a visual novel with choices sprinkled throughout the tale, but if you ask me, I would much rather do it in the way I've explained above.
However I am open to criticism and ideas, so feel free...

Hello folks

I will be working on a new VN and I would reeally appreciate some help on deciding which type of art I should use. I could go with either one of these, but I wonder which one you would enjoy more <3

(The Stone Servant)

(The Deviated Darkling)

Also P.S. - The project story is going to be based on one of these characters, if you'd like, you can also give your input on which one you think would provide a more interesting journey.

Hello there!

Here is some of my work I've compiled for your viewing:

I'm happy you think so!

I hope you will enjoy!~

Thank you! I aim to have it out as soon as possible! I'm glad you like the art style, I wanted to make it quite minimalistic. :D

Thank you! I do hope you will like it. :)

I can't thank you enough for your kind words!
I am beyond happy that you've taken an interest in this world I'm trying to create and expand, and knowing that my projects inspire even someone to look into doing one themselves motivates me to keep going.
In fact I have a mini project/game that will offer a bit more information about the world coming very soon!

Thank you again for your wonderful comment and support, it helps immensely! <3 <3

Awe I'm so happy you feel that way about it!
That's what I was trying to achieve by telling this story, I wanted to truly grasp the sadness that surrounds their lives but also show some pleasant moments that make it worthwhile.

Thank you so much!

I would love to have characters from different stories somehow cross paths, so I guess the answer is......maybe! :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
I've made a simple walkthrough that includes all 5 endings. It is linked here:

I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And thank you so much for your kind words, they truly motivate me!

Thank you so much! Your support means a lot to my work and to me.
The next 'big story' will probably take a while, but in the meantime I will be sure to work on some short stories since there is so much I want to write about and illustrate.

The story centers around Lorys, a girl who is a part of an uncommon fire species and an exile from her lord father's southern island.
Lorys' dear childhood friend 'Neiva' had fled her home on the island for a mysterious mission in the north. She is told to return her home so she doesn't face the same damage as Lorys.
She pushes herself to her limit and finds herself vulnerable more than ever before, but she is kept standing by her companion Rowen, a disreputable cut-throat whose motives  seem pure.
