The Stone Servant - an illustrated story you can choose the ending to

Hello there!
I'd like to announce this cool new project I've started working on:

The warlock is a peculiar yet very talented man, who once had a beloved wife with whom he shared an estate and a profession. He still resides there, even years after said wife’s mysterious disappearance. Try as he might, he never could dig up the fate that befell his love. So he retreated; closed the doors of his manor and his soul and continued existing, unhappily…barely. Today, he spends the entirety of his days by reading books with tales of romance and bold adventure and … talking with his only friend, a stone statue of a nameless woman, propped up in a broken fountain in his back garden.
One especially melancholy day, he gets the idea of bringing his stony companion to life using his vast knowledge of sorcery, and to his own surprise, succeeds.
The fragmented warlock might not make the best of decisions, his mind addled by years of misery – But YOU get to choose how his story will end.

~

Thing is, I don't know how many people are actually willing to read an illustrated book (which is what this is, more or less) with only a SINGLE choice given to you at the very end, as to give you the opportunity to see a few different outcomes and choose the one you prefer most - unlike in an actual novel, where you are stuck with a single ending which you may or may not like.

I could make this in to a visual novel with choices sprinkled throughout the tale, but if you ask me, I would much rather do it in the way I've explained above.
However I am open to criticism and ideas, so feel free...

(You can see more of my art on my Instagram - "Eilohhs Art" - if you'd like.)

Hello Eliohhs, upon checking your page and Instagram account (mind-blowing), I have no doubt you should stick to your guts. From the various novels and interactive fiction I just saw, you have a way with words. Reading an illustrated book will be possible since people will be captivated by your art and storytelling. I'm creating a visual novel with Renpy because it's what I find most appealing to what I have in mind, but with the artwork you're capable of, you'll have a different product to introduce, instead of the "standard" visual novel structure.

All the best for your project.

Oh wow! Thank you so much for your kind words! You have no idea how much you've motivated me to keep going, and bring forth the best possible result I can muster. I hope to not disappoint :')
And thanks again!

You have believable characters, and your artwork stands out from what's usual. I'm glad I have ignited the spark in you. I still have to gather support and then encounter an artist willing to join my story.

I'll be checking your future updates😊
