I believe i was just browsing latest titlea for playdate a few weeks ago. Then played it when I had a few moments yesterday.

This was incredible! Really cool little comic experience!

Thank you for the great tip, will do!

Thank you so much for the kind and helpful feedback! I did actually notice the same thing and have updated with a guideline, but I didn't have time to upload it before the jams end. I spent so much time with collisions, so I definitely need to practice that before moving on to another jam.

Yeah, you need to do a hard restart. But the point is trying to write the word in the recipe by putting in one letter at a time

Quite nice and chill vibe, but the game didn't quite do it for me. I can tell there's quality here, but I kind of felt like I didn't know why I was doing this stuff. It was also kind of hard to tell exactly what the game wanted from me in order to proceed. If you polish this thing a bit you might have a future banger though!

This game does so many things. But most of all, it's a master class in how to thrive under limitations and how to work with what you got! That last jump felt like it needed to much precision though, until I realized you could jump under once I got the OS 'upgrade'.

Fun game, fits the theme nicely. Readability could be better, but the respawns were so fast it didn't really matter.

Amazing art style! The intro and end cinematic was beautiful! The game was cool, but slow to start. By the end it got quite hectic, so the challenge could have been scaled a bit faster.

Would be helpful with some clearer instructions (could be in the description page). And in-game text was a bit hard to read, but cute concept and art. I was able to finish in about 3 minutes! Put in some time for polish, and this might be a short and sweet little gem one day!

No need to be so harsh. It took me a minute, but it didn't take to long before it was obvious your goal was to make the same word as the target recipe, which was "atomic". Degrade the sandwich to it's basic elements and get small balls with letters in them.

Is it the best game ever? No, but the creator had fun and managed to make a game with a goal which is possible to finish, and even give you a score (time used to complete) in the end.

Absolutely genius idea!

I see, thank you anyway! It would actually maybe make sense to mark whether you completed a level or not though. I'll keep it in mind.

Thank you for the feedback, glad you liked it!
So the high score is only for recording how long you survive in survival, while the different difficulties are "won" after 60 seconds. Are you thinking like a record of how long you survived them, or a "survived" if you completed the level? I'll definitely keep that in mind for a later revision!

What a fun twist on the good old snake game! Unfortunately the game started to chug down to about 1fps (I'm not exaggerating) by somewhere before 3000 points. Too many little humans at once I guess. Can you even die by their hands? TLDR: Cool game, needs some optimization.
