Yeah.  The zip file contains the FBX's also

Yep. Do with them as you wish.  I would love to see what you put them in though :D feel free to share.

Completely free use.

Glad you like them!

I tried searching on discord but couldn't find the user name. It is case sensitive, would that change things?

It looks like the winner is Unleveled water by @jael137.

It doesn't seem like there is a DM for itch. But if you put the asset pack you're wanting I'll make sure we get it to you.

We are coming into the last few hours. Make sure you get any last votes in for the couple submissions. Tomorrow I'll make to announce the winner and contact them for their choice in prize.

While the game looks great, we shouldn't vote for that one unless there area over 50% assets from itch.

Just a few hours left for submissions and playthroughs and reviews can start right after.

The theme was vother in and is unleveling.

The jam page will be updated shortly.

We've got a few votes in so far. Just over a week before we kick things off.  If you've got a preference on the theme make sure you take a look at the survey and take your pick.

We have just under 2 weeks before the jam starts. I was just curious if everyone has decided on an engine or not. If you have, which one. If not, what are you going to use?

I mostly do all my work in Blender and Unity, so I'll be sticking to those this time around.

Since the jam will be starting in just a couple of weeks I wanted to get the Vote out to everyone to see what you'd like for the very first All Itch, All the Time Jam should be.

You can find the form here to vote:

Nice!  That's awesome.  Should make it even better. What do you think made it your most successful one?

I was just wondering what everyone's most successful game jam has been.  Did you do really well, or finish something you're super proud of, or make a million dollars, you know the important stuff.  Haha.

If you'd like anything clarified, feel free to post here and I'll be happy to answer any questions.

That's awesome!  I'm sure it'll come out even better this time around. Im sure it's super interesting seeing how much you've learned and grown since then. It's always great looking back and appriatomg just how far you've come. I look forward to playing it!

If anyone has any time to kill, I'd love some feedback on how mine is coming along: https://ejgarner118.itch.io/contracube

Nice!  Good luck!  I can't wait to play 'em

That's a great point.  I'll probably have to play around with things a bit and see how everything is feeling.

That's awesome!  I haven't really seen too many of the jams with prize money.  Doubling up on the jams is certainly the way to go. :D

It's about half way along now, how's everyone's progress coming along?

Mines going pretty good. I made a lot of fixes from input I've gotten on the game, made good strides to getting things rolling in android. Still need to fix some levels and add in a mechanic. I'm thinking since it's mobile some kind of shake to jump kind of thing. But no idea really on that yet.

Thanks for taking the time to play my game. I really appreciate it. The endless level mode is one of the main things I want to try and get into V2.  thanks for much for your feedback.

I had a really great time playing this one. It is short, sweet, and right to the point.  It seemed really well polished and I really dug the graphics and over all feel of the game.  The security gamers were a great mechanic.

Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game! I really appreciate it.

I hope you'll find the time to give V2 a try when it comes out with everyones input added to it.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you had so much fun playing it.

The single hit taking off multiple lives has been updated for V2 and will no longer be an issue when that gets pushed out.

As for the level design, you're absolutely right. I didn't give enough time to fully plan out the levels like I would have liked. I've been going through with much more intention when planning the levels. I've gone with a duel approach. Keeping the preplanned levels (with better design) but having a procedurally generated free play mode.  That seems like it would be the best of both worlds.

Thanks again for your input, it is very helpful. I'll make sure to let you know when I get V2 out.

Getting so close now! Who wants to be the last 3 Rockstar's who help this first time Jammer break through to 20? ContraCube could really use your ratings and honest opinions. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1419716

This doesn't seem to be playable from my end. But I'm making it a point to go through all the Cube Themed games and play and rate them all.  Mine is also of the cubey variety. I'd love to hear what you think too.

I think this was great!  Fun gameplay and pretty interesting use of the theme. I would love to see the more fleshed-out version.

I'm making it a point to play every game cube-themed. Mine is also. I'd love to hear what you think.

Thanks for playing through the game.

That's exactly what I've done. Figured it would be a good place to start from and expand and learn with.  I look forward to V2 of this game and my next game jam!

This game was fantastic!  It is really well polished on all fronts.  The graphics, audio and mechanics are all very fitting.

So much potential for expanding some of the functionality and complexity to the game too. I would love to see this developed it its full potential.

I'm glad you like it! Hopefully v2 still brings you back to the good ol' days. 😁

Thanks for taking the time to play my game, I really appreciate it.

Got me with the play button too.  Haha.

The humor in this game was great. It was fun getting to explore around in the dark a bit and help my cube through its existential crisis.  Thanks for sharing!

This has probably been my favorite game I've played all jam!

It's really well polished and simple in the best possible way. The humor is great and extremely witty. The art style, audio and game play were all great.  I smiled the entire time I played the game.

Of all the games I've download, this one will be staying on the ol' hard drive.  Thanks for sharing!

This seemed to be really well polished. The controls and the graphics were great together. And I really liked the concept.  Unrealing the objects was a great mechanic.

I do feel like I died a few times even though I did shoot the object and it changed, but not quick enough, maybe.

All around, really fun.

Like everyone else, I had a blast playing this game.  It is really fun and draws you in. The gameplay fits teh jam theme and the overall game concepts as well really well.

I don't know why, but this gave me some serious  Sega Gamegear vibes. I loved that thing.

This was a fun platformer with a super unique take on the characters and humor. I had fun plaything through. I did seem to die a lot but that's probably just me.

Overall really fun take on the genre and fun game.

I think the art style and theme of the game were great. It carried through in everything from the landing page to the last minute you play the game. The art, music, and SFX were really well polished.

I had a bit of a hard time with some of the puzzles in the beginning but started to get the hang of it pretty quickly. All around a fun and well-polished game.

For anyone curious. I've posted a devlog of what I hope to implement better in V2 here: https://ejgarner118.itch.io/contracube/devlog/355197/post-game-jam-info

I will have a playable version uploaded soon to the latest changes. But want to let this jam come to an end first.

This was a great, well-polished game jam game! It was fun playing through the different options and choices. I would love to see some of your decisions have more robust/animated consequences to your town. But all in all it was really fun.
