Thank you!!

I thought free projects wouldn't need a long time to get indexed, only the paid ones; I wasn't expecting a week to go by, considering it's not the first project published.

Was I wrong or is there some other kind of problem?

Thanks.

In accessibility: what does "one button" mean?

Would a game that can be completed by just left clicking the mouse fit in the category?

And... I published the game on the 23rd of May.

I've read the rules, the FAQ, the Quality guidelines as well, but let me know if I've done something wrong without realizing.

Thank you.

Yes that helped a lot, thank you!!

Alright, thank you Afloofdev.

What concerns me the most right now is a change to description (a forgotten secondary warning).

It wouldn't involve new images nor links, and I'd still like to know if the game ends up at the end of the list to get reviewed.

I understand if you prefer not answering this question, should I then contact support or just give up on it for now..?

If a game is indexed: what changes to the game page cause it to be unindexed and reviewed again?

If a game is NOT indexed: would making any change to the page bring the game back "at the end of the line" to get reviewed/indexed? Which changes in particular?

Some partial changes I'm considering: the tags, the description, the metadata,  at some point a Linux version, possibily a fix to the cover image... Any of these? What if rather than just adding the Linux version I upgraded the current downloadable zip to contain both the Windows and Linux version? I feel like that'd be an assured re-review?

Thanks!

Hello everyone! This is my first time opening a topic on this site.

I published my game a few days ago and it's not been indexed yet, so this is the PERFECT time to ask.

TENPO•IS - The Admonitory Rhyme by elis_o (itch.io)

I'd like some opinions on my game page, especially in regard to one particular topic.

A comment I received made me consider the idea that the first impression my game gives - despite it not being mentioned neither in the tags nor in the warnings - is of having the implied theme of gender identity.

That's actually not the case and that's where the problem arises, I really don't want to give the wrong impression when it comes to such a sensible topic; if someone were to download the game with this idea, they might be even annoyed by how much it doesn't tackle the topic at all... even when it might seem "logical" to.

I'm aware the description and tags are a bit vague, but it was a choice, because part of the fun (??) is trying to understand what actually happened and when. Hence the mystery and horror tags.

This might seem like I'm overthinking.  Am I?! I really don't know, so that's why I'm asking for opinions. I have a history of not being able to see very obvious things...

To summarize, does anybody have the same impression? Is there something I can do to avoid that?

Any suggestion in any other regard?

And that's all I guess. Thank you for being patient with me.

(Edited because wow, as stated, I really can't notice very obvious things at times c;)

!! No actually I have not but thank you for raising my awareness.

Sorry to resume an old topic but could you please expand upon "Some people are relatively safe putting their real name out there, others not so much"?

One example that comes to mind is nsfw games, but besides that, do you have any first or second hand experience you can share?
