Hello, I'm a music composer that mainly works with short films and commercials. I'm very new to working with a game developer team and have never done music for video games before. I'm mainly just looking to built my portfolio in the community and gain some experience working on some games. If you're a team or developer that's open to working with someone new and unfamiliar with jargons, game production and terms, I'll be more than happy to join!

Here are some examples of my sounds for your reference:

This gave me quite the oriental whimsical fantasy vibe to it! Fun listen!

Thank you so much! Wow I had a great time reading your perspective on their story. Definitely gives off a whole new dimension to the two characters in a cool alt reality kinda way! Fun read :D

That melody sold it for me. It's a simple yet a strong hook. Awesome!

My biggest take with this is the nice choice of sounds and placements for the beats. Fun, clumsy but with direction. Good job on the designs! Didn't expect this to start playing :D

As primarily a jazz musician I'm a sucker for this vibe. Retro jazz fusion mixing in tasty chords and lines. Awesome!

Man this gave me nostalgic feels especially when that lead synth came in. You'd think acoustic instruments but your use of more synthesized elements gave it a unique contrast that I like and fits surprisingly to the prompt. Good job!

I really love the fluttering elements and execution of all the instruments. Sounded like just a group of buddies having fun and exchanging good vibes with each other. Really cool!

That's the plan! Glad it translated well to you. Thanks so much!

Wow, I really do see the Water Temple now that you mentioned it :O Especially when the plucky harp and glock came in.  Thanks so much for the insight!

Thank you! Glad it managed to sound seamless :D

Thanks a lot! Yeah I do love flowing things in and out, quite a tricky but fun challenge trying to do it within the suggested 2 minute limit :D

Good eye! Yup hurdy gurdy there somewhere. Had it added at the last minute thinking it'll help with the melody then it ended up being too much. A less is more kinda situation. But had to have it there somewhere to hold down drones and chords and stuff ><

Thanks! It kinda helped me too. I like writing down notes and ideas this way. Kinda gives me a better picture of what to do.

Thanks so much! Glad it locked in with you!

Thanks! Yeah after marinating on it for a while I do agree with you. Would've made the front a bit more happier sounding.

I'm mostly a music composer for films and commercial ads while focusing myself as a jazz musician on the side that does world fusion music. I have zero experiences with jams and working on music for game devs in general and this is a new community for me to network and be a part of.
