Thanks so much! I'm so glad you like it!

No judging. : )

The game doesn't need to be a menu, but it should take inspiration from menu design.

Yes, go for it!

With credit, it should be fine unless the original creator has explicitly said no one can use their work.

Great! Have fun with it. :D

Cards are great! Go for it!

The jam idea came up as a graphic/layout design challenge to look at menu designs and draw inspiration from their layout, but I am open to other interpretations of "menu". An existing game with a layout inspired by a menu design is Waffles For Esther by Pandion Games. Hope that helps clarify.

Thank you! I hope you have fun playing.

Yeah, the general idea is that you create something within the jam's timeframe, but I'm easygoing about this—you can get started on it now (I know a few people already have haha). I'm not going to penalize anyone for having ideas for this jam that excite them.

Thank  you!

That's great, thank you!!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it.

Thanks Beth!

Accurate cat simulator. I did indeed break something that a cat would break.

Thank you!

Great! Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you made it home!

I have it on my Switch— such a great game.

This game is great. I've died every time, lending more truth to the phrase–Seek revenge and you should dig two graves, one for yourself.

Added!

Many thanks! I hope you enjoy the goblins.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you had fun.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you had a fun time.

Haha thanks!

Nope, in this particular jam it's more important to make a game and have fun.

Thanks so much! I am glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy it.

Thanks Ducky!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it!

Love this. Wish it wasn't only Monday because I would most definitely be going on this adventure with Mr. Dog.

Thanks and enjoy!

Thanks!

On my first play through, I managed to get out with my 3 items without getting sucked up into the portal. Will I be so lucky on my second try? I don't know, but I recommend this adventure!

Thanks for checking out The Hike. The main benefits I see to one page RPGs is a matter of printing convenience and easy portability.
