Had a lot of fun playing that game it really is great work, I got a heart attack when I entered Pont Grenouille. Though I got skill soft locked at Neiry's boss and after 15 minutes of trying I gave up.
The game was overall very fun but a bit hard to read at times, doesn't matter much it's just technical. I had a good laugh seeing "smells like teen spirits" in the effects, overall a great game with a great concept, good job!
I agree to be honest, I didn't manage to get the difficulty correct, though the player's journey is a bit eased because opponent monsters are always a bit weaker than yours. But not enough, thanks for your feedback!
Thank you so much for this amazingly constructive criticism! I will really fix controls when I make a non-jam version! And sadly yes, I gotta agree that the die could have been replaced with anything else, but I felt stuck I'm somewhat a RNG hater. Glad you liked the animation it took me a while to figure out!
