This is a super neat platformer, although I struggled with the controls at the start.
Thank you!
I like the idea for it, I think you have something with potential here, but the controls could feel unresponsive at times and unforgiving. Like the guy below me said, frustrating to control. Also, despite including dice, it doesn't have any randomness or chance to it, and the dice could very easily be called anything else while still having the same function. Basically, it seems that it would be the exact same game whether or not it included the die. I really do think though that this could be a really good game were you to improve the movement and maybe show the moves that you have for that respective level.
Edit: I forgot to include this but right off the bat I liked the animation
Thank you so much for this amazingly constructive criticism! I will really fix controls when I make a non-jam version! And sadly yes, I gotta agree that the die could have been replaced with anything else, but I felt stuck I'm somewhat a RNG hater. Glad you liked the animation it took me a while to figure out!
The concept is nice but it's really frustrating to control.
Controls require a little patience but its a good game :)
Thank you! I should have added coyote time ^^'
I like the idea of switching tools throughout the level, but I thought the controls were a bit unresponsive and I wasn't quite understanding how to clear some of the levels. I only got to level 3 before giving up. Also, I think you did good with the presentation.
Thank you! Yeah the controls are a bit weird, will do better next time!
Great concept! Unfortunately, it's a bit unenjoyable since you have to release the space bar to do the action. It would be preferable if the action happened as soon as you hit the key. Other than that, my only small nitpick is that the text explaining the controls is a bit blurry. Great Game!
Thanks a lot! In any other game I'm going to make so the action activates on press instead of release.
Took a bit to get the hang of, but great concept! good job!
Thank you!
