Semantic nitpicking but… you don’t “fire” a bow or a spear. “Shoot” would be much more appropriate.

I’m a bit confused about why this system claims to be based on the classic x-in-6 mechanic.
It’s stated in the blurb, and again in the text. Then the text describes a roll-over mechanic, which x-in-6 is not (it’s roll-under, that’s why it’s called “x-in-6”). Then when it finally describes the actual DAD6 mechanic, it’s a dice pool. Completely different.
Fun fact: there were historical combo weapons. The bayonet, of course, but also many kinds of sword-pistol and knife-pistol.
My favourites however – simply because because they are quite bonkers – are described in Fiore dei Liberi’s treatise: if you look at the “Axe in Armor” section, paragraphs 15-17, you’ll see a poleaxe-bola combo and a poleaxe that delivers a blinding caustic powder.

Of course, and I do appreciate the time you’ve clearly put into this project. Please keep in mind, however, that adding bookmarks really just takes minutes. I do it myself on the PDFs I have that lack them (that’s how I noticed the discrepancies in the table of contents, by the way).
Have a nice day!
Hi, first of all, I love this project, and thanks for sharing, for free even!
But I do have some criticism:
- Please add bookmarks to the PDF. It’s trivially easy to do, and makes the PDF much more usable.
- The table of contents is a bit messy. Some chapters aren’t listed (Complications, Armory), some are grouped under a new name (Travel Procedures, Factions, NPCs & Bestiary).
- Please update the version number whenever you update the file. It’s what, the third revision now?, all of them marked as “Version 1.0 | December 2022”.
The PDF could benefit from a revision. On one hand it's beautiful, nice layout, gorgeous art. On the other hand… no author attribution, no date, no artwork credits, not TOC, no bookmarks (NO BOOKMARKS!! Adding bookmarks is trivial and should be mandatory for any PDF longer than 4 pages). There are also several instances of "it's" that should be spelled "its". The "Video Explanation" paragraph is also weird and incomplete.
In Acrobat Reader, it's in the menu "View" -> "Page Display" -> "Show Cover Page in Two Page View".
Unfortunately, in Acrobat Reader there's no button and no keyboard shortcut for it, you got to use the menu. That's one reason why I prefer other PDF readers (PDF-XChange Editor on Windows and Foxit on macOS).
Most PDF readers (as in, all but the most rubbish ones) have the option to consider the cover as a separate page when viewing two pages side-by-side. In other words, you can choose to have the odd pages on the left or on the right side. There's no need for a version "optimized for two-page on-screen viewing".
Hi!
In #1, there's a link to "Der Tresor", which isn't available any more.
Luckily, there's "Der Tresor II".
Something to consider in case you want to upload an updated PDF.
