I don't know honestly. I haven't tried to sell in the markets before. I don't know what's the best way to do it. Do you think you'd be more likely to purchase that way? Is that what is most successful for people? Right now it feels like I barely scrape by and sell for super cheap for the hours and experience and I'm not really
making that up in volume. Discounting stuff even further seems like it could be a good move if it means more sales, but could also be a disaster if it just makes all my stuff even cheaper with little increase in volume of sale.

Thanks, that's quite useful to know. Yeah I ended up feeling like it was easier to just do it with individual threads after all so I don't have to try to shuffle content around. Maybe there's a benefit to one big thread (assuming it even gets seen), but for now individual threads are easier and given what you've said probably get seen more anyway unless you've got a huge following.

Ok thanks, I guess I'll try to do it that way and see if people have any issues. Itchio does seem to be more chill about how you organize things than some other places.

I've tried making Release threads in the past for pixel packs as I release them. But the threads usually just disappear immediately in the deluge of new threads and content.

Instead of making another new thread each time an asset is released I'd like to try making a single thread for all (related) released pixel packs and just updating the thread each time the next one is released and possibly altering the title and original post with news about the newest pack release and content. This way I can just have all the related asset packs connect to a single master thread where any comments or questions could be gathered. Is doing this sort of release thread format (instead of individual threads) ok with Itchio?

is there any plan to update this to allow people to put their own pixel tiles into this? this would be very helpful if I could use it as a tool to place my own tiles.
or could I just go into the file structure and change the art assets manually?

I don't currently have plans to create bundles as that's not something I've done before and I would have to look into that further.

Hey, just letting you know I've now released a pixel shields pack on itch. It's got 75 icons because I couldn't help myself but make other cool designs and colors. There are matching examples to some armors in the screenshots and the naming conventions should match existing color set names to help match them up to both Armor Pack 1 and Armor Pack 2. Someone emailed me and asked for some of these other types of assets. So right now I'm about half done with a set of Shields which I'm matching to the color schemes of many of these armors from both packs. I may do helmets or other items after that. Feel free to throw out some suggestions.
