Ok... Since I am most definately NOT a fan of STEAM I prefer to play my AVN games without someone looking over my shoulder or at my game library like STREAM/Valve has the habit of doing. So. I need to clarify my confusion related to the "Versions" of the game's Season 1 and Season 2. And find out what the 0.4 release is? Of course I mean all of them related to Windows PC versions only. I would also like to know for sure where you are at update version on Season 2 and if Season 2 will continue or if there will soon be a Season 3. I have played the STEAM S-1 Version and liked the game a lot just not the STEAM oversight of player libraries. I got to play a free NON-STEAM version of S-1 and actually found some differences and liked it even more. 

So. Non STEAM game releases  Season 1 and Season 2 (so far) What are considered the full or latest updates for each so I know which ones to buy to get the game in it's fullest glory?

Thanks for the quick call back Jonesy! Glad to hear you are on the next release (5) of NYD. Hope Siren Song is coming along as well too. Great story telling in all 3 games.

So. Jonesy, Where are we at on the last stable update release? I am trying to find anything newer than the first release and have drawn a blank. I know you are working hard on this one and Siren Song. Don't get me wrong. I am not trying to rush you. I found a long time ago that quality releases take time and also that most developers need to take a break periodically to refresh and get the creative juices flowing again. If and when you need to do this drop us a note so we know you are still around and do what you need to do. I was extremely impressed with Siren Song. Downright quality story telling no matter what anyone else may say. Still picturing the stage and her first time on it. Oh.. And having flashbacks to the phone at the camp. The mind is running 100 miles per hour 7 different directions at once with ideas of where that will lead!!

Kind of hard to trapes into incest when no one in the game is blood related to anyone else except for the MC and Camilla, and their mother. Not something I would really wanna see happen. Particularly when/if the developer does not support or want to include it in their product. There are plenty of other games out there that provide for this type of recreation.. Note. I said RECREATION not Procreation!!! What kinda perv do you think I am??? LOL

So... This is v0.21 is the actual start of Chapter 3 before we chase down v0.22 that you just had to reupload after your blond moment a few days ago where some paths where twisted outta sorts?? JK you.. You da dude! All Hail Tropecita!!

As I said in my post 3 months ago. Check the dates on the releases and then look at the file sizes. The latest date with the largest file size is the latest release. The v.10 you refer to SHOULD be the "Reworked" and Final Release of "The Guardian". The actual version number is V1.0.... Any version you find with the decimal before the numbers is an older released update which means they are not complete. IE: V0.12 was newer than V0.11 and of course any "Lower" number like V0.10. Always look at the date of release of that update AND the file size of each release. The larger will usually be the newer unless there is a note attached to the update about any change in file compression or rework of the game that reduced the download size. Usually this surrounds display file sizes or compression methods...

With all the various site political activities we see accross the net over AVN games and content in them some developers are harder to reach so keep an eye out for a note from the developer, including this game, for updates like changes of name or venue. IE; Seathblack, Blackheart, and of course the other sites that support AVN game developers. Some are pay to join and participate like Patreon etc.

Things are really behind here on Itch. BabysWithRabys Patreon Page was down for review the last time I checked it a while back but it's back up now. It shows DDL Version 0.053 was released Nov 26, 2023 With DDL Version 0.054 released Dec 8, 2023. That WAS a good sign. Less than a month from one update to the next showed promise but we all know life can get in the way of progress. I just hope BWR is well and able to get back to use on the game status and possible update release(s) in the near future. Since many creators need time off to rejuvenate and freshen their minds and creativity I suspect it is reasonable to expect BWR to need the same time off but most don't take a year off unless something really heavy happened to them. 

I extend my best wishes to BabysWithRabys in the hopes they are well and able to let us know how they are doing. 

Hello!?!?!?! BabysWithRabys!!! R U Still with us? R U Still out there?? If U R.. Any news for us about the next update release for this very fun game? I mean. It's been about a year now since V0.053 was released and I know I am not the only fan chomping at the bitt for an update release! Please update us on how you are doing and when we might be able to see an update for the game!?!?! Thank you for what you have created so far. Please continue it!!! 

Yes! czarnibog makes a very VALID Point! Since the site has halted ALL "Sales" of such material HOW DO THEY justify continuing to charge money for games they will not allow developers to SELL here?? This would SEEM to indicate that it is in deed itch who is now "Setting, Charging, Collecting, AND POCKETING!" the funds they are charging for games they do not allow to be SOLD here.

Is NightXP the same developer or someone who took over the project? Do they have a Patreon Page? I ask these obscure questions because the last time I searched NightGamesX the only place I could find them was here. I have been watching for any updates for a while now hince my comment about 4 months ago. I even went back to the site where I found the 0.3.1 release and it has been removed there. Annoying censorship in the AVN market is just flat out rediculas. So much for freedom of expression and "No Pixels harmed in this AVN..

From everything I have found, or better said, NOT found this AVN is in deed dead. Itch should pull it since it seems clear taht Dob3d is no longer active or interested in continuing the game. They for sure should not be charging ANY money for it. JMHO

Ah... But.. Don't go and burn yourself out. You are one of my favorite developers. I know I am not the only fan that wants my developers to be fresh and creative in mind and spirit. Your games are a nice and funny reprieve from the daily grind that we ALL have to deal with. 

Does that mean you are going straight for the Final come Jan 2025 after taking your break? Musta been a GREAT Break then!! Glad you got to take a break. Everyone needs to step back and catch a breath and take time to rejuvenate. Looking forward to more of your stories.

Going by the percentages and timing it seems logical since you want to keep fresh in your mind where you are with each game. Working on 3 at a time has to be a real mind binder when it comes down to keeping them in line and only crossing where you MEAN for them to cross over... ALL HAIL N2TheFire! 

Mundo popped up on Patreon to let us know he is still around but it has been a while there. He has made promises related to upcoming game updates but as yet no updates on update progress or status. We can only wait and hope for the best. If he holds true the next update will be HUGE....

Hello Trope!!! I am waddling here! And. Yes.. Very familiar with the NSFW issues of Itch. They litterally cut their own profit margin throat with that policy setting. Chased a LOT of developers away and some left games that where set at pay $XXX or more price that Itch is still "Selling" while the game has been abandoned by the developer here on Itch. Many games like this are in deed dead but a few have continued elsewhere like Sub-Star etc. But then again. Many AVN fans like myself, can't really afford monthly or annual fees to keep in touch and access to games we love to play due to fixed incomes or other issues. I myself just found out about the Sub-Star site. I have yet to go look at it and have not considered joining it yet. I have just gotten used to the Patreon site and attitudes there. Since many Patreon developers have added free limited access I have taken to that so I can have access to info on games I follow. I also see, read, and understand burnout and other issues developers deal with on a regular basis and how that hampers their creative juices. I fully support developers taking time out to rest or to address REAL LIFE issues. WE ALL suffer from real life calls to duty. Anyone who considers themself a fan of yours should be well aware of what you have been through. Again. Do what you have to do. Keep fresh and take your time to give us your best! We expect what you expect of your self. And as my Patreon closing goes. It goes here.. ALL HAIL THE TROPE! ALL HAIL TROPECITA!

I agree with Deus2980! It's so good other games are pirating characters for spots in their games! Artemis was featured in Chasing Sunsets! A very respectful spot to be sure! I am not the only fan out here waiting for the next chapter, or chapters, to drop! Keep up the great work digi_b! I LOVED how someone got her upcummins... Burnt fingers to boot!!! The idea of the window toss was a sick but effective fantasy too!! LOL...

Considering they are charging $5 (or more) for it at 324 mb and the latest update was like 2 years ago it seems to be a dead horse being flogged for free money.. There is a lot of that going around and really funny how they ALWAYS blame it on the developer even though the developer has abandoned the site and game here on the site. Like anyone would really believe that they are passing the percentage to the developer who left the site. It happens far too often.

Thanks for the response. I understand the need for change but I am thrilled at the idea of a release based on Camilla's story. And of course the Last Human "Will go on".. YES!!!! That might allow for random visitations by Serenity caste members like Rin and our favorite others hopefully. I say Rin since that has already been illuded to through her conversations with "Mother"... I know I am not the only fan who just litterally is chomping at the bit for more.. And to show my support... ALL HAIL N2TheFire!!!!! 

Any chance of a 3rd season or chapter of Serenity? Perhaps a spin-off of the Serenity series featuring MC's sister's "Universe"? I already said I would like to see Last Human go for several seasons/chapters. There is HUGE potential for the game storyline if you are up to it. I suppose it all depends on how in depth your creativity gets submerged in the new game you have mentioned. I will be watching for a demo or prologue for it. Keep up the great storytelling! We all want MOOORRREEE!!

Add to the lack of updates here to the fact that G12s Patreon page is practically blank with no posts there in some time. Not even any game development progress for ANY games. Looks like G12 is no more.. Real bummer! This game had SO MUCH potential!

Seems their last comment post here was about 2 years ago with only game updates through 0.053 back in Dec 2023 being the last of those. It's close to a year without any information here or on Patreon from them so there may be more we don't know. I hope not anything serious but we may never know. 

No updates or status reports posted on their Patreon page either. I wonder if B's is still around???

When I ran into that problem, apparently Renpy standard oops issue, I found my only answer was to save frequently and at special points like making a decision as to an action with a character in the game. It was a long time ago with a different game. It worked well with that one so I continue it with all the Renpy games I play. The only thing I need to find now is a way to return to my previous save point when I click a single digit number on the screen by accident which usually happens after I have reached nearly 1000 saves. A couple of times in longer games I was over 2000 saves and clicked on the 9 or 8 trying to advance the save screen and my mouse pointer jumped on me... Talk about AGREVATED!!! The mix in of real life considerations like drug and alcohol abuse shows the depth of your story telling ability. GREAT WORK! Keep it up! Played the first part! Got into it so deep that I actually had tears in my eyes at the scene where the two girls brought her up on stage with her guitar to play with them for her first time. It was flat out beautiful!! I almost want to see this one go multiple seasons! Great job! Keep it up!! I can't wait for the next update! But I can to get it as good if not better than the first part! You do your best as you clearly have the ability to do! Thank you for a great set of stories!

Hello N2! Hope you are well after that "break".. We all need a break every now and agin... As for the next project, after Serenity is finished. You are most assuradly right! Taking on a different beast after doing so well tying 3 games together the way you did the Last Human and Serenity games you are in a tuned mind set. Tryin to mix content between Last Human and Viral Affair could be catastrophic for LH and VA both if your mind starts blending them together in auto-pilot  mode on you.

Clearly. Take your time and keep up the great job on these stories so they carry you on to your next project with a continuing of the fan base that you have.

Just a blirp about my dreams. IF you where to do a Redux or Revision of Serenity and/or Last Human. Essentially a one run completed game on each one. I would love to see it and I know I am not the only one. Folks will pay good money for full run games like that. You could even offer them as a Collection since they are so well blended together in the story lines. I would pay $30.00 for a "Collection of LH and Serenity 1&2 without batting an eye!! Just a blirp on my dreams. ;<)

Do what you gotta do BM Rec.. I enjoy both games and I look forward to any update you release because I am sure you are putting your best quality into each update. The pressure got to you on BM and you had to put out a patch from 0.90 to 0.91 cause folks RUSHED YOU!! Pssst.... (whispering.... "don't keep me waiting too long on either one...." Wink Wink ;<P )

The latest version released (seathblack) Blackheart says is the final version. That is V1.0 which was selling for $10.00 USD when I purchased it. I was just as confused as most folks by the version numbers. I though v.12 was newer than v1.0 because of the decimal location. I sent an inquiry about 12 just like you did here and Blackheart responded with info that clarified my confusion. I then bought the V1.0 of the game. It was larger than the previous versions and since it is a reworked build it starts out a bit different from the earlier releases. Just watch the dates. IE: Dec 2022 for TG V.12. TG V1.0 is 2023 for first release. Have to watch the dates or you get shorted by older releases. The one drawback is that when a post says "Is out today" like TG.11 above, note the date. That was "Today" back in September 01, 2022. It is now September 22, 2024. I guess it's too much trouble for sites like itch to remove date expired content like older files that are YEARS older than much newer releases. Of course they will blame developers despite their control of content on their site. IE: Removing games that may appear to meet their standards even if they do not.

Well.. Yes.. IF the developer is still active. The fact that the game is flagged as "Abandoned" on most any site you can find it on, and the lack of updates since, what, 2021? It is clear that this game is no longer supported. Also. Recent changes in itch.io related to game prices has removed the developer's control in many regards. Denial of sale among them so this should have been, and should be, itch's action for any/all games that do not receive demonstration of support and activity by the developer. By all means. Leave the game/developer listed but remove the ability to charge money for any game that is no longer supported or updated by the developer. Think about it. As long as itch is charging for the sale of any game, not updated or supported by the developer, means itch is keeping that money. Even though they have a contract with the developer for how funds disperse, what guaranty do any of US have that our money went to the developer when the developer clearly HAS NOT visited their itch site account in YEARS? This game is yet another example of a game forgotten by the developer, or abandoned because the developer "Moved On", or was removed from the equasion. The last post the developer put on their Patreon page was back in 2021. That constitutes 3 years of no updates or actions with the game even there. Clearly abandoning this game. So.. ANYONE who pays for it has not at all been paying attention to the status. And by continuing to accept payments, since they process through itch control, lets itch disperse the funds how THEY see fit. Even it that means all of them go into itch wallet.

Updates are better when developers take their time and follow inspiration. That and of course living the REAL life that we are all subject to. Then of course when updates are released they are much more enjoyable and appreciated. Keep up the great work! I can't wait, but I will, for the next chapter of Last Human as well as Serenity 2. All 3 stories have been really enjoyable all around. Blending them with each other has created a very fun universe to play through. Great work all around is an understatement!

According to the developer's Patreon page the game is not abandoned. Update 1.24.1 was released back in June 2024 and 1.23 was back in April. The timing would indicate that the other site release is apparently the "Free to all" Non-Patreon release of the game as it does not include any Patreon content that is indicated as included in the "Paid Member" releases. The Patreon page shows an August 2024 post referring to a 1.24.1.1 release? May be a patch around the Becca character from what it shows.

Iz U sayin DIKGames is pirated games? I thought it was the free end releases since most every game I found was the "Free" for everyone version. I keep watching Patreon for updates on the games I am interested in and much as I would like to join each developer's page and get early access as well as Patreon versions of the games I am on a fixed monthly income so I can only be a member of a couple of them. Sorry. I did not mean to offend. I would not have mentioned the site if I had any clue it was possibly not legit.  

I picked up a fresh download, purged the old installation as well as the save folder for it then installed the fresh download in a new folder.  I just started the game fresh at day one and have worked through Pet Bond 1 (Alexi). At point of introduction to Coach Vivian. So. Still have some ground to cover so I can find out if the images that where missing before are now accessible. Fingers crossed and as with Serenity C2. Looking forward to next update releases! Love your works N2!! Cannot wait to see what else you come up with in the future!
