I didn't realized itch had a comic section until recently and I do really love this one-shot. The art is great, the story is intriguing to make me see more of the universe - very captivating piece! Congrats

I really liked the aesthetics and the execution. A great idea to make a platformer in which you take another body with other capabilities (reminds me of the Oddworld series). Great work in game design, art, programming, and music for such a short JAM - congrats!

I really like the idea, the puzzle execution, and the final presentation execution. I do enjoyed play this one! Initially, the game was a bit confusing, but once I understand it it was great to put it into practice.

The homage itself can be a factor in your game to be declassified, indeed. But I understand the team's intention with this game and thought the game is well constructed. Congrats on doing the game in 48h!

I giggled at the silly music and I enjoyed more than I think I would the "reversed flappy bird" gameplay. Congrats on the game!

A super cute twist in the 2048 game, I really like the concept of herding sheep for the purpose of revenge! The art is cute and the gameplay is satisfying in the swiping. I noticed two bugs:

  1. sometimes a line of sheep could not be herded by one swipe (needing repeated swipes in the same direction),
  2. some random levels generated didn't have a solution.

Ignoring these minor bugs, I think the execution was great and the team was really ambitious to make a procedural level maker in 48h! Congrats!

I do really like the presentation in a virtual "custom one-game handheld". The art is cute and on the spot with the proposal. The game itself is simple and polished. Well done in 48h!

Sometimes computers can be a little temperamental! It is not rare a system reboot to make a reset in some internet or connectivity configurations, resulting in change of behaviour.

Nevertheless, I'm glad that the game works now and you can test it by yourself! I wish you have fun with this little fan game I made.

Hello there, Sagata!
It should work

I downloaded the Windows application and opened 4 apps as seen in my gif below. Please note that the first at the top right is running as a Ship and all others as Passengers. Is your game not behaving like this? If that is the case, can you please further describe what you experiencing or, perhaps, send me images to help me address your issues?

I really enjoyed the visual novel demo and looking forward to see more of it :)
Excellent visual art and intriguing narrative. I think the audio is a little rough in the edges, with abrupt transitions between loops and scenes - but it managed to set the scene and contribute to the overall ambience!

I can't wait to see the rest!

A friend of mine follow you on Twitter and recommended me this demo. I thought it was immensely fun to play, with great feedbacks, a top-notch responsivity on the controller and aesthetically very beautiful on the narrow pallete you choose (very well design as well on the layers of shadow and visibility).

A superb demo and can't wait to see more of your work.

The only feedback I can't give you is to easy the access to your pages, not only emphasize on the end of the demo. The begging was your hashtag on the bottom, i know, but I would create a pause menu option to disclaim the creators of the game. In this way a player at the middle of the demo run can checkout your work and social media. In the middle is a nice place to thought "Wow, this is really cool game! Who made it?", and allows players that not finished your game to consider follow you anywhere :)

Keep the great job!

I think you guys made a remarkable job in this. Visually, musically, narratively all was very cleverly well done. Surprisingly incredible.

I discovered this little gem in the itch.io highlights video, congrats on that to! Very well deserved! I can not emphasize how much this type of game motivates my to pursue my indie game dreams, so thanks to that too.

Well written, well implemented... this is a reference to my future game for sure. I can't wait to see more of you guys. Keep on doing great games!

==============================================
Spoilers below
because I described a bug behaviour. I expected that help you guys to fix it :) My game is on latest version (26/06/2021).

Like thechosen1Sunset Moth and Sofox; after visiting Jakob's house I found a receipt of alcohol and try to talk with the officer at the police station. In the way I activaly tried to talk to Elsa (the florist) but nothing new happens. Walking furthermore Sara enter automatically in the police station, where the same dialog loops indefinitely (the first one, that I already seen before).

Searching in the comments I found what suppose to happen next. So I only try to talk again with Elsa but now the new dialog appears and the story returns to move forward again. After that Filip appears in front of the dinner again and the police station door does not automatically make Sara alwaysenters whilst passing by.

I little short demo full of potential that you and Michael Berto put together! I loved the aesthetics, combinating a retro ps1 look and a ambience sound design that really sold me the eerie atmospheric of the nether realm. I am really curious about how you will develop the narrative of eternal love and post-life. The visuals are simple and beautiful, the design is great, the sense of dread is palpable - very very good ambience!
In short: congrats! These kind of games renew my energy to porsue my own little projects, being a example of how awesome an indie project can be.

In the subject of criticisms I have some:
- The movimentation controls are a bit cluncky, so is a little off to move around and I always was aware of the controls
- I agree that the audio mixing should prioritize voices to keep clear the understanding of the scene (but subtitles would help to aid this effort)
- The level design is too much straight forward to me, it seems that you only could take simple paths and walk for a long period admiring the gourgeous forest - could be nicer to make a broader kind of navigation, to allow the player to sense the creep and navigate with caution... a straight line gives reassurance to a tranquil journey.
- Menu navigation should be checked out, multiple times the menu opened and multiple options were selected (for example).

I will look forward for updates and keep the good work!

I really liked the game you guys are making. I am still wondering if the "there is only one ending" in the description is a meta red herring because the end is kind of gasping and urges a "I want more" feeling! As the imersive indie storytelling you are aiming, I surely will keep an eye in your future work in this project.

I am also a indie dev wannabe and makes me pretty happy to see two guys, in their spare time and using all the tools available (Godot, freesound, etc etc) to make their dream tale to came alive.
The art is beautiful, both anime-style and the pixel art. The sound and music is greatly made and/or assembled by you. As gameplay wise, I think the game uses well the "walking simulator"ish design to introduce the player to the world and their elements. And, lastly, I really liked the multiple perspective introduced in the avalable maps - the top-down view in the majority and the lateral side-scroller cramped door corridor. This two together make me think of both of classic Horror JRPG/VisualNovels and the Lone Survivor indie horror game. I think you nailed the vibe in this demo! Congratulations, again :)
