Yeah, a lot of people mentioned that. I wasn't sure if I should since the game was really short and I didn't expect it to be hard. If I ever come back to this I'll add checkpoints for sure. But I'm glad you like the idea!

Thank you! I tried to pick a moving that felt sci-fi-ish since I was going for like a lab type level where you have to escape lol. I didn't intend for the game to being hard, but that's good to know for my future projects and testing the difficulty.

Tbh, I didn't expect it to be hard, but this is my first time actually making something so it does give me a good idea now of what can be hard.  From my pov things seemed easy so it's interesting to learn how different the dev/player pov can be. I also didn't think to put checkpoints since I felt the game was already too short, but I understand the frustration. 

Also by soft-lock do you mean you were unable to progress? The platforms should be breakable if you fall while being big, or jump while small then switch.  And about the game being slow and low framerate, it was fine on my side but I'll definitely look more into that, maybe I did do something wrong on my side.
