The cutscenes in this game are incredible. As well as the alternate "I give up" ending. However, I feel like it's lacking in direction. I was not sure where to go and ended up having to close out after 45 minutes. So unfortunately, I didn't get to experience a lot of the game.

Here's how my playthrough went. First, I immediately ran left and climbed until I found the dash ability. Next, I found the volcano. I'm not sure if I found it too soon because the mini game with the infected person back at town mentioned I should have practiced the game with my friend. After that I went left again. Eventually I ended up here (screenshot), but it wouldn't let me interact with the scroll.

I did try to use the map, but it didn't seem to clearly display what room I was in.

I got to the same place as Veralos so I'm glad I'm not alone. Short game but the art is great and the whip sound is so satisfying. Definitely need skippable dialogue if you don't want to lose people before they give the game a chance.

I had a lot of fun figuring out the timing windows to make jumps without stopping.

My feedback, I played for around 45 minutes and wasn't able to make it passed the first level. It's a very difficult game. Adding checkpoints along the way would help with the frustration of starting over completely.

Also the music is off by default, not sure if that was intentional.

Loved the art style of this one.

As for feedback, there should be checkpoints before the bosses. It took me quite a while to learn the pattern to avoid the first boss's attacks and it was very painful to have to rerun the level each time. I would have closed out if I wasn't committed to beating it for the jam.

This was a very solid game. It felt like a complete experience with the two boss fights.

As for feedback, the field of the view felt a little small for a game with precision movement options like the grappling hook. I was able to pass those parts of the game but still didn't feel like I really knew to use it. I would just move my mouse to the edge of the screen and hope.

This was a very enjoyable experience. The world was well routed and did a great job teaching me how to use the items I collected along the way. The muffled audio underwater was also a nice touch.

As for feedback I think it would feel rewarding if the sword impacted some enemies in more ways than just dealing damage. For instance the whale creatures could delay their ascent for an extra second after being hit or the frogs/mice could be knocked back. Energy could also build faster on enemy kills. The gun is so fun to use, I'd like to use it more.

Is it possible to upload a .zip version? If not, it seems like we have to download Winrar.

Make the dialogue skippable.
