Really great game (and demo) overall, it kept me going for hours.
At first I was really missing the option of being able to somewhat aim my shots ( shooting upwards, or crouching to shoot lower), but as I got more comfortable with the mechanics, I'm not sure it's needed. Having to skillfully position yourself and utilizing the environment to land the hits ends up being pretty fun.
Great enemy variation, amazing visuals, clean sound design, responsive and tight controls... honestly, this game has it all.

Best of luck and I can't wait to play it when it's finished !!

Extra points for the chuckle I had with the shopkeeper dialog.

Thanks for the kind words ! We are currently looking into that problem, thank you for the feedback

Thank you for the comment ! Yes, the game could've used a little more intuitiveness in that sense.

Thank you ! We will definitely take it in consideration

Thanks a lot ! We didn't consider the relation to Ben 10 but now that you say it it's pretty cool hahah. We're very happy you appreciated the game  :))

Thanks ! You can find a link in the game page that will lead you to the fixed version ( no crash guarantee )

Very fun game !! Cool concept and even better execution. The indications at the bottom showing whats the next move are very helpful, that's why I would probably get rid of them to play in accordance with the theme. Especially since the sequence is announced at the beginning of levels, so memorizing it would play an extra role in the gameplay. But the game is great, the sound design is nice and the visuals are very fitting. Great work

Enraging, but in the good kind of way ! Loved the clumsiness of it, and the concept is really nice. Had a lot of fun trying to get the people to safety and I liked the feeling of urgency that it creates. Could use better sound design ( maybe some funny screams from the people ) but great game overall !

Very cool concept ! Loved it.

Interesting concept ! Could use a little more juice with some camera shake or visual effects but I understand the constraint of time. Good job

Interesting idea ! It made me think of The Last Guardian.

The character feels great to control and his animations are really nice. The visual feedback for the different "gravity effects" ( for a lack of word ) - like the arrows and colors - are very nice and intuitive. One idea tho, maybe if you only limit the player to the arrows instead of giving him a jump as well, it would fit a little better with the theme. Other than that, great job !

Thank you for the clarifications ! We will definitely look into it

Lovely game !!! Loved the arcade/retro style it has, the presentation is on point and the sound design is great. Definitely enjoyed this one.  It could use a little more clarity and dynamism

Very interesting idea ! It's actually pretty close to one of the ideas we thought about at the beginning of the jam, so its very fun to see that someone else actually went on and did it. Good job :)

Thanks for your comment ! We will take a more in depth look at your problem, thank you for the feedback !

Thank you !!  Yes, we will surely look into it if we decide to push it as a fully fleshed out game.

Thank you ! The fact that you couldn't deal damage to enemies is a little weird tho, does it happen all the time even after rebooting the game ? It would be helpful for us to have a little more details  so we can check what the problem may be.

Nice game, great music. Not super sure how it relates to the theme tho : I feel like being able to rotate (and thus deciding the trajectory) actually gives you control on the rocket, even if the bumps and boxes send you flying away. Good job !

One thing I loved was the title screen. The hidden "No you play" button made me laugh. Then regarding the game itself I found it being very confusing. I understand that it has to do with playing with the theme but I think the game would greatly benefit from a little more clarity.

Fun game ! Altho, I am not sure about how it relates to the theme :/

Very interesting and fun concept. At first, it felt like a completely random process to get from the start to the goal, but as you play more you realize that the choice of moving 1,2 or 3 squares matter a lot in terms of the ball's position. Very clever concept.

Awesome idea ! We were very disappointed after submitting our game, so we are very happy that this is a thing !

Thank you for this great opportunity !

Thank you ! We are currently working on making it better.

Thank you for the kind words ! We will update the game with fixes and better visual effects.

Thanks a lot! Sadly we didn't realize  the crashes until a little after the submission. We are looking into them right now.

Thank you for the comment ! Yes, we unfortunately only realized when it was submitted, and thus too late. We are currently looking into it. You should expect new updates with fixed bugs and quality upgrades.

Really great game ! The controls are tight and intuitive. I love the "Celeste" vibe it gives off. The only criticism I could give is maybe trying to make the platforms stand out a little more from background. It was a little difficult at times to discern, but was never too big of an issue. The art style and animations are on point and the atmosphere tops it off perfectly.  Also the ending was great.

Good job !!

In this game, you have to collect a key in order to progress to the next level.

Each level has challenging platforming, but you have to think more that once before jumping off a platform 😉

The game is a remake of our LD42 submission, The Mansion.

The Mansion is a platformer we made for the 42nd ludum dare game jam.
We've spent the last few weeks improving it for you guys !

You have to collect the key in each room in order to move forward. But platforms disappear right after leaving them, there are also mobs  and other special platforms .

I personally recommend playing with a controller, but you can do just fine with a keyboard too.

Any feedback is more than welcome, of course, and is of much help to us.

Enjoy your game!
