Commit 2 murders, no one bats an eye; commit a third one and everyone looses their shit! Had fun :)

Developer

we thought it was a little weird that no one would react to the first two murders but with the approaching deadlines we said to ourselves : “ok, it’s a video game, it’s normal :D”.

Developer

Lmao^^

Are those Flowey faces I see in the rage meter?

The music changing was a nice touch (because I know having music at all in a jam is tough), and the city was nice to look at and fun to explore. Took me a while before I realized dogs don't harm you; only their poop does.

Yes, we redesign flowey faces for the rage meter (you see the reference :)).

At the beginning we want that dogs “attack” when player are in distance (like For people asking for you to fill out forms) but we don’t have enought time. We also wanted policeman that give a ticket if player don’t cross over the pedestrian crossing).

Besides, did you see that if you cross over the pedestrian crossing, cars don’t honk (and don’t increase the rage meter ^^)?

Submitted

I didn't! Didn't even realize cars were increasing my rage. Just thought they would kill me if they hit me.

Love the art and the concept.

I think when the player goes crazy, it's a good balance between being able to restrain the character if you try but also not having control.

I think the objective is a bit simple which is fine for a game jam and serves the purpose of forcing the player to explore the cool world you've crafted.

I think something that would have added a lot of flavor is maybe some speech text for the player's thoughts as he progressively breaks down. Would be a good chance for some lore and explain how the character became insane.

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, at the beginning of the Jam, we thought of several possibilities for the lore of our player (like post-traumatic syndrome, former serial killer, …) but with the time we wasted a lot of time and couldn’t decide. That’s why there is so little lore.

But really thank you for your feedback.

Wow I loved this game. It's hilarious how people asking for you to fill out forms is a trigger lol
The slicing animation is also really well done. Overall really really great job! 5/5

Really thank you for your feedback. I am very happy to see that you like our game.

For people asking for you to fill out forms we use a reverse voice recording.

Interesting concept ! Could use a little more juice with some camera shake or visual effects but I understand the constraint of time. Good job

Developer

Thanks for your feedback and for your ideas. We try to add some juice with the music but yes, with camera shake and visual effects it can be great.

cool game , reminds me of the show dexter and mr robot. Really like the music when he goes insane. Wish he could stab more than 3 people haha!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot, yeah nice thought it was an inspiration for Mr.Robot^^
