Yay! I'm looking forward to it. I've been trying to find other games to play as I wait for yours, but nothing seems to scratch my itch the same. If there's anything I can do to help, lemme know! I am a bit of a Godot game developer as well.

Love this game! Can't wait for more!

Great game! I beat it in about 5 or so minutes. Had so much fun. And this was made for a Jam? Insane! Keep up the good work. :)

super fun! Thx for making it.

Input does not work for me on M1 Macbook Pro. I've enabled input monitoring for the app, also tried disabling, enabled, removing the app and readding the app to input monitoring.

It still doesn't work. Thought I'd let you know.

Game looks cool tho!

MacOS build doesn't work on M1 Macbook Pro Silicon.
If I run the .app it says 'Can't be opened'.
If I run the .app inside the folder 'Starve_MacOS_BurstDebugInformation_DoNotShip' It says it appears to be damaged.

Great game! I beat it in 151 secs on my first try and collected all the coins, the key, and the chest. It feels great. I wish there were more levels, maybe some enemies, and perhaps a boss to battle, or some big challenge before the end.

Keep up the good work! :)

I love this game! I can't wait for release. I wishlisted on Steam. Thank you for the fun demo!

Thanks for the info! I think I'll give building from github a try.

I wish you the best of luck in finishing your game!

Hello! I really like your game, I've been playing it on steam on my windows pc and wish I could also play with my characters on my mac laptop on the go. Any news on when that will come?

If you need some help compiling, I can look into building crogine on my m1 macbook pro and help you compile a version for steam.

Thanks for making such a fun game! Cheers

I had fun playing this for a bit. Love the idea!

Nice update! Much easier to control. I killed all the wasps and I had 192s left. bwahahaha fear me wasps!

your welcome :) I'd like to see how the game progresses!

The camera movement, it was kinda weird how left clicking to move the camera around and mouse scroll was only to move the camera up and not zoom out from it's perspective. But then i figured out using WASD and that helped. I ended up getting comfortable with it, but I didn't like it that much. very sluggish. If you're lerping the camera position I could increase the time factor a bit.

The main thing for me was the way in which you attack the enemies. Do I have to select a building and click on every enemy? It seems like my little swarm dudes only kill one enemy unit and then return to base. I wish they auto attacked nearby enemies until I told them to come back. It felt like too much to micro manage. That, or I am not understanding something.

Also maybe I'm just not into the type of micro managed game you want to make. I have friends that are really into Star Craft 2 and love micromanaging their units!

Also I wanna say your game has such a great polished feel to it. Nice settings menu for audio, and cool menus and transitions. Really well done there.

Hope I could help! :)

very cool little game!

Very cool game! It looks great, it is a bit hard to control for me so I didn't play it very long, but I see a really great game here if the controls are better. Well done!

Wow thank you for the detailed feedback! :)

Thanks for finding bugs! I think I have fixed the path finding issue now.

And I agree with the sound becoming too loud, I'm going to cap the rate at which a sound can repeat.

I'm not sure about the spawning issue, my old code was such a mess! I've rewritten the whole thing now and it's much better.

I appreciate your comment. :)

Thanks! So glad you enjoyed it. :)

Those are such great ideas! Zombies that have life steal sounds so cool, I think I might add that in. :) And I actually do have plans for aoe hammer attacks. haha, great minds think alike!

I'm going to keep working on this for sure. Thank you for the kind words and suggestions!

Thanks! :) Ya I decided to make it too easy rather than too hard. Wish I had more time to tweak stuff and add more enemies. I've already implemented a new spawning system and am making some elite skele bois!

sweet! I gotta check that out.

0.429 is my record! got most of them right at the start. Fun game! Simple and effective. Also I like the art style and music. :)

Takes some getting used to the controls, but fun game! I like bees vs wasps! I'm on team bee! :)

Look in the bottom right corner.

This was pretty cool. I liked collecting bees and then slaying my enemies in one fell swoop!

Nice game! It felt like a unique twist on the genre with the hexagons and being bees.

It was pretty hard tho, I can't last more than wave 5. Maybe I'm a scrub tho. haha

You wouldn't believe how long I played this for. xD

Pretty cool little mechanic. I made it orbit the hexagon all in one clump, very fun.

Ya definitely! Really great visuals too, I played this for quite a while just enjoying the twists and turns and flight controls. :)

Look in the lower right hand corner. There's a secret.

I don't understand how to play, I just held down the 1234 keys and it blocks them and i get money. Cool little game tho. I'm interested to see what you do if you keep developing.

Great game! It feels pretty complete for 3 days! unlike mine, lol

I had a blast learning the different towers and enemies and making strategies to defeat them.

I liked that you had cheese and the rats would aggro on it. Very smart!

I hope you continue developing this. :)

Seems pretty cool, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to build the machine gun! Very cool start to a game. I feel like if you keep developing this, it's gonna be really good, you just need more time. Well done!

Amazing atmosphere. i think the opening cinematic camera moves were too long, but they were pretty cool. You nailed the creepy feeling. I was kinda scared walking down the dark corridors. haha Nice job! :)

Wow! This was very fun to play. The art was fantastic! It took me a little bit to understand how to play, at first I couldn't figure out how to change spells, but then I got it. Very polished feel for such a short jam. Well done to you and your team! :)

Wow! This was super fun! Great job, I think you might win. :)

So much fun eating the cars! haha

Very satisfying to kill a bunch of zombies in a row before dying. I could see me playing this on my phone while on break at work. haha

Thank you! :) Awesome ideas! I had some of those in mind, but I totally forgot about different arrow types. Lightning arrows sound so cool. Thanks!
