Hey there! Did you manage to find a team? If not, feel free to check out my team's game pitch deck: https://digipad.app/p/817687/8e7b7ca97ea62.

Howdy everyone! I'm Bee, and I've been writing for amateur video game projects for 4 years now.

I'm looking for a pixel artist who has experience with parallax environments/backgrounds to pair with our character sprite artist/animator. Experience with animating is a plus. Bonus points if you're speedy!

Looking to make the game in Unreal, Godot, or Unity. In a programmer, the team is looking for someone comfortable working with both 2D and 3D elements on a 3D plane, post-processing effects, robust dialogue systems (choice-based, conditional, stored variables), and implementing a bartending minigame.

The jam game, tentatively titled Dragonpunk, is a 2.5D side scrolling walk-and-talk sim that imagines what a classic D&D inspired fantasy world would look like if fast forwarded into a cyberpunk-esque future. Think goblin street gangs, tieflings in moto jackets, and old elven ruins covered in magic-tech neon. Art style inspired by The Last Night/Octopath Traveler - nostalgic pixel art meets modern post-processing. Flexible with the game engine - looking at Unreal, Godot, or Unity. For a more in-depth look at game mechanics and art inspirations, check out the game's pitch deck here: https://digipad.app/p/817687/8e7b7ca97ea62. Howdy everyone! I'm Bee, and I've been writing for amateur video game projects for four years now. I got my start writing on mods for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and have since branched out to short game jams, visual novels, an upcoming horror survival Steam release, and audio dramas.

Think goblin street gangs, tieflings in moto jackets, and elven ruins covered in magic-tech neon. Make magical drinks and speak with patrons in the bartending section, then before and after work, explore various encounters on the city streets.  Our protag suffers from anxiety, so standing up to injustice, or just sending that risky text, all deplete our hero's limited willpower.  Players will have to manage risk/reward as they journey through the city. Art style inspired by The Last Night/Octopath Traveler - nostalgic pixel art meets modern post-processing.   For more details on gameplay and art inspiration, check out the game's pitch deck: https://digipad.app/p/817687/8e7b7ca97ea62

Edited to reflect new team members

Hey, I'm putting together a team for the jam and retro/vapor/synthwave is definitely the musical vibe I'm looking for! The game is tentatively titled Dragonpunk, as it takes a classic D&D style fantasy world and fast-forwards the clock until it it eventually becomes a futuristic cyberpunk one. So, goblin gangs, magic-tech, and elves in techwear.  More info in this sheet, if you're interested:  https://digipad.app/p/817687/8e7b7ca97ea62. Sent a discord friend request as well!

Hey, Annie!

Itch.io did not want to let me log in last night, so I sent you an email! My profile icons should be the same in both places. If anything I mentioned in the email interests you, feel free to reach out there, here, or on Discord. My Discord username is also shortybee. Congrats on graduating and happy project hunting!
