Hi! I'm a recent grad & 2D background artist looking for fun projects to work on to build my portfolio while I break into the industry. I have experience in student-led games, game jams, and in the animation industry.

I'm looking for some fun projects to contribute to on the side!

Of course! This is for a passion project that is in it's early stages. I'd like to get some concept art for the main city the game is set in and go from there if it resonates with you. I have all of my worldbuilding notes on a doc, but I'm thinking of a lush and extravagant religious capitol/city surrounded by barren/radiation wastes kinda vibes if that makes sense. I started getting other people on this project yesterday so it's still new and there isn't a set style or design just yet.

Right now, I am working on a fairly simply project and I am just requesting a little bit of art done because our team has many great ideas but we are not digital artists.

I really enjoy your art style and it would be GREAT for our team. This project we are working on is just a short project(HTML5 game) so don't worry about burnout.

Hi Annie, our project is going to be a short indie game. The game is about these flowers(petal people) who move around, all while staying in giant flower pots. It is going to be sort of a battle game and for the itch io page, we need some promo art. I think that you could very easily meet the expectations I have because I saw your portfolio and what you have there is amazing(it's interesting because one of our writers likes spiderverse, too). Our schedule is very lenient as we are still in school and all of us have to balance the work(game jams) and school. This project would be fairly easy and just one or two promo pieces would be needed.

Hello there! I have a long-term project that's still on its early stages, and I'm looking for people who're willing to contribute. Those works are pretty amazing and I think you could be a great addition to the team if you've got the time!

The project is a story-focused rpg game with some chibi style, y'know? As there's a lot of vague roles in the team as of now, I'm not looking for anything in specific, so we can just talk it out and see if it fits for you, what do you say? :)

That sounds nice but unfortunately not having specific roles or ideas for a long term project means I can't commit to this project in its current stage. I'm looking for stuff with clear visions and roles - maybe once you have some more development/in a few months feel free to reach out to me again to see if we'd complement each other's goals!

Hi Anniesology,

Sent you an email. We're a small indie start up looking for a background painter and environment/prop concept artist. Maybe some illustrations too. We're working on a 2.5D action rpg called Solita that we would love your help with. We've been able to help a few people break into the industry through work experience with us and offer contract work on the side. A few companies that we've worked with are Nickelodeon, Activiation, Naughty Dog, and some Riot/One Piece devs.
