I'll leave this open in case anyone needs to ask serious questions.
Asked questions:
1.) What assets are on the table for use? Anything you legally have access to and is not code. This means, you must write your own code, but other assets are freely on the table, such as this collection of old sound effects: https://www.samplescience.info/2021/02/8-bit-fx.html

The funny part is that originally it was planned to have weapons swap out like in old arena shooters. Due to time, misunderstandings, and some scheduling issues, it was never added in. Furthermore, an idea was thrown around to literally fight cupid as a boss, but, again, we never got around to it.

Notably, for some reason, health wasn't really thought about. I don't even remember it really mentioned much until the last few days. Health [for both the enemies and the player] weren't really things until the last few days as previously the death for the hearts was instant death and Dupic didn't even have death yet. I have an idea of the reason, but it'd be best to ask Avace on this one.

Yeah, that's pretty common. It's not a bug [as far as we know], but the enemies tend to be a little slippery and can be hard to see. behind the collision. The mini-map is supposed to alleviate that, but the last-second assembly did no favors.

Neat little game. I can't say much more. The music really fit the theme pretty well.

Well made with few bugs. It's rather intuitive. The guitar was a pleasant surprise. However, there wasn't much incentive to the game.

Ma'dam Biscuit worked really hard! She deserves a cookie!

I'll post what I said about it after-the-fact:

"I think the mini-map would have been worth explaining. It also was kind of in the way considering how small the map was.
The mini map is so small that it didn't have that much of a purpose.

If we were to update it, the mini-map could be put in  he middle with the ability buttons on the side of it.
I think the mini-map can work, it just needs some touching up"

I would say more, but it's an aberrant story about how the mini-map came up.

I'm a little surprised to get so much positive feed back for the audio. Thank you. I made over 300 sound effects from scratch, most of those within the last few days.

The enemies literally merge.  It's difficult to see this first hand unless you play through a few waves.

Yep, yep. I lost sleep over this game's audio. The F Maj to C# Maj was a surprise.
