Satisfying puzzle game, but some kind of mid-game progression would be nice :)

This is so cute and clever!

I had the upright bass and I wasn't able to play anything, keyboard input didn't do anything. Did I miss something?

good game feel, clever mechanics and you made thorough use of them :)

Figuring out those things is basically what the game is about ;)

I made a dungeon crawler that displays only one color at a time:

Thank you for taking the time to give me this feedback! the point is not staying in blue forever, but to... venture to the edges and avoid defeat :)

here's my game: https://fahps.itch.io/one-color-dungeons

I wasn't originally planning on joining the jam, but when I saw the theme announcement, I started having ideas and found something really simple that I could do without too much huzzle. After about 8 hours, I had something I was happy with and let a friend playtest it. I realized that I wasn't finished AT ALL as he didn't understand it. It turned out simple is sometimes the hardest to do! so I spent another day just conveying the concept more clearly. I'm pretty proud now though :)

I made a game where the screen is only one full-screen color:

Really original approach to the theme. Two characters, but only ONE player. It's also the mindfuck that you'd expect :D

Thanks for your elaborate feedback, I'm happy it worked that way for you :)

I will upload the two versions separately, once the jam is over, thank you!

Thank you! The bright light is the end indeed, congratulations!
I thought of a way to run credits to signal the end, but I couldn't quite make it work with the concept :D

Thank you (: will do!

One Color Dungeon shows you one color at the time, telegraphing you what to do.

One Color Dungeons shows one color at a time, that tells you what to do

Apart from displaying only one full-screen color at a time, One Color Dungeons is also one-button: you navigate the game and fade the color that telegraph what's happening by pressing and releasing Space.

One Color Dungeons displays one full-screen color at a time, which fades around as things happen in the game.
It's visually the most minimalistic game I've ever made.

I took the one screen idea a step further and had the whole screen be one color. Colors fade around as things happen in the game.

I went pretty radical with the theme, One Color Dungeons only shows one color at a that, which lerps around as things happen in the game

I used 'only one color'. There's literally a single full-screen color visible at the time. Communication and telegraphing is all done by color-fading and sound design https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462105

Thank you! the end goal will become clear, when you continue doing the thing ;)
