This project has potential if more time is put into it. I liked that there was health bars and big icons onscreen – as we see in modern mobile dungeon crawlers or hack ’n slash genre. I missed the sound effects, which could have worked greatly for Forrest Of Madness. Refining the sprite work will also boost the visual quality. Good thinking and keep improving!

I wasn’t able to run the installer on my computer, it crashed right at the start of the installation. Based on the video, this game presents an interesting idea, could be improved with SFX and some kind of HUD to assist the players. I believe this would be the kind of project that would work well with network support.
My computer didn’t handle the game nicely unfortunately, not sure if because the graphics are heavy or something else. Overall, this was a good idea for a game jam project, it is an actual game with quite a few dev challenges that show what can be done with the GDP curriculum. The use of sound is great and keeps a cheerful atmosphere. It didn’t seem to me as if the mesh for the arrows were actually pointing in the direction they were fired towards, but the physics was working fine. I think a HUD of some sort would greatly help push this more. Well done!
Unfortunately, there was no information on this one, so I didn’t know if we were supposed to reach a certain location or just explore the map. Maybe this could have turned into something like the Slenderman game with more time. Some sounds could contribute to the aesthetics and help set a suspense mood. Keep it up!
There are some creative and interesting ideas in this demo. The underwater effects was quite clever and I think that this is a game that could actually go further in development. The art and dark tones are simple but do set the mood well and fits the purpose of the game. I agree with the other comments about the camera/gameplay; those could be improved with more time. Nice work Curtis!
