Ah, okay, sorry, hadn't even checked the Steam page.  Thanks for the reply though and well done on the game.  Really impressed with the thoroughness of the dictionary, especially when it comes to assigning traits to different words.

How does one acquire a Steam key after purchasing?  Just 'cause I realize that there's been updates since I purchased the game and figured it's easier to transfer it over to Steam so I can keep as up to date as possible.

So much fun and love the paper tab aesthetic and all the little "pull this, fiddle with that" bits.  Very excited to try a full version.

Is there some way to link the game to the Steam listing?  I bought it on here hoping that might benefit you guys more but would like to be able to receive updates more easily.

I knew I couldn't be the only one thinking that.  Yes, leafo, please please PLEASE can we get some sort of method to filter through things in our own libraries?

Really enjoy the game but a query: I was able to defeat Dark King during a 45 day run...but didn't get the achievement or anything in game (the trophy button).  Not sure if that's because my King was still in town and not on the expedition himself?  Also do the Rings you win during that run do anything?  Can't access those either and maybe they're just something there for fun but figured I'd check.

Hey, just thought I'd post this in case you wanted to edit the puzzle, but I believe that there might be two solutions as the highlighted bit *does* have two full crosses attached to it.  Otherwise, such an addictive puzzle game; very well done.

Very elegant and cool and thank you so much for taking the time to make an English version as well.  Much appreciated.

...heh...heh heh...nevermind.  I was being VERY dense.

Is it on purpose that the elevator puzzle has no in-game hints?  And am I just being dense? :-P

Okay, I'm also stuck on this cupboard problem.  Thought maybe it was a matter of counting which things are earthy, which watery, etc.  Does this require some background in chemistry to recognize what each shelf's components would do or something?

Just starting the game and really like the concept.  Just wanted to mention though, and this might just be a web thing, but I picked up a tile to look at it (it had been flipped over) and then, when I let go of it, it just kind of...fluttered out of the tray. :-S So guess I won't be using that one.

Oh, no worries, I just started a new game and, have to admit, used a YouTube video for two of the last puzzles. XP Thank you for looking into it though!

Okay, thank you.  Very cool game, by the way.  Frustrating but in the best way. :-P And the aesthetic is lovely

A query: is it possible to actually be unable to backtrack?  Like I'm in column 1, row 4 and was able to move south through pushing and rolling, etc. but when I went down to 1,5 I felt a bit stymied so figured I'd backtrack...but it looks like, without certain abilities, one can't go back that way.

So trippy and really rather lovely.

This was honestly so terribly sweet.  Really enjoyed it.

Really cool game.  Just want to let you know though: almost got blocked out as the room with the pink stuff all over the floor; you can't click on the pink stuff to reclaim the word.  Was able to use one of the other ones and transform it a bunch into the word I needed but, yeah, just thought I'd let you guys know.

(1 edit)

Sorry, this is very silly as I've not played the game or anything but just wanted to say: well well played on the name.  Really enjoy that.

OH!  And maybe implement a 5-foot step so a person can retreat without provoking attacks of opportunity? :-P There might be one in there but the three buttons on the side were missing tooltips so I wasn't entirely sure.

Didn't want to overload your wall with a whole slew of text but wasn't sure how to offer feedback otherwise. :-S

First things first: REALLY like the game.  ...which is funny because there are definitely a number of things that still need working on but the way that the game seems to be progressing is just excellent.  I actually loved the transition to the more natural environment but still keeping with the grid-based movement and was personally really pleased with actively *seeing* a trap as opposed to it remaining invisible whether you disarm it or not.  Will say that the game froze for me when I entered the cave with a good few kobolds and, I imagine, the little girl?  But maybe the event for that part hasn't been programmed in yet.

Another thing I really enjoyed and that totally surprised me that I enjoyed it was actually the...er...residue from a fight staying behind and effecting the environment.  I mean, icky, yes, and normally I'm not big on lots and lots of blood but it did really marry the top-down and first-person views beautifully. (Also, the way that you implement that combination and the fact that you even have that combination is super cool) I will say though, as excited as I was at first to see my companion standing beside me after a battle, he did kinda sorta keep getting in the way as we explored the rest of the caves.  Might not have been an issue if his giant axe didn't keep covering my view but, yeah, might be best if companions only appear in combat situations.

Game mechanics-wise, I'm kind of unsure.  There's a lot that I really enjoy and the things that I have some issue with honestly might be down to personal taste BUT: the resting only restoring one hit point, I do kinda sorta get it; I imagine that it's meant to replicate D&D rules like a lot of the other mechanics, where one hour equals one hit point, etc., but it does make things a little difficult if you've almost killed yourself bashing down walls and then have to fight soon after.  Also, personally...I've never really been a fan of the Vancian magic system. :-S Totally a personal taste thing but I like characters having a wide variety of spells that they can cast without having to prepare them ahead of time.  But that is very much a personal taste thing and didn't terribly effect my enjoyment of the game.

Just some cosmetic things: wondering if you'll expand the skintones and other color options for the figures, maaaaaaybe offer a nonbinary option (yes, I know, I know, but it is nice for nonbinary people to have that option and was implemented really well in Wildermyth for example [well...I think so but I'm pretty much cisgender so...yeah, nonbinary people might feel otherwise]), and are you really going to go with the OSR "Elf is a class" approach or are you thinking of expanding the character options so you choose a race and a class?

Either way, really enjoyed playing the game and looking very forward to the finished product!

My apologies and I hope that this doesn't come across as rude but, um, did you mean to price it at $59.94? :-S Especially as the price seems rather different from the one listed on DriveThruRPG.  Just figured I'd point it out in case it was a typo.
